Cyan gets picked up by a Dave.
And belly rubbed.
He's being loved.
He should not resist!
And he doesn't... confused as he may be all the while.
// Gonna revamp Cyan's bio and stuff before making a proper comeback. Not much has changed, just need to reword some things and tweak a few details. //
Gladion paused a moment and pulled out his wallet. Everything in Aether was either fingerprint or controlled by Shadow’s AI. His ID had seen better days; Lillie’s was probably in better shape.
“Yeah, here.” Gladion held the battered ID out for Cyan to scan. “Don’t know why you need it.” He kept walking poking his head in a room to ask a employee if they had a spare Pokeball.
“No, sir.”
“Damn it.”
"My programming doesn't allow me to override all privileges and permissions. Confirming your identity was one thing, I just needed to see hard evidence of you being the head of the Foundation in order to show you. I apologize for the inconvenience."
All he needed to do was glance at it for a split second before his voice synthesizer emitted a quiet beep and the circular display on his forehead displayed a loading icon.
"Permissions updated. There we are. Now I can tell you everything you would like to know."
redemptioninchaos:
The cambion didn't notice the griffin until the projectiles sank into his skin, letting out a bloodcurdling scream. Once he saw the griffin flying overhead, he pointed a finger at it, chanting a curse in Infernal. Hellish flames enveloped the griffin for a brief, but agonizing moment.
While the cambion was distracted, the dragonborn fired two arrows at the same time, one bouncing off his chestplate, the other sinking into his neck. Both arrows were again infused with ice magic, leaving snowy crystals on his armor and icy shards in his throat. The cambion tried to speak, but all he could mutter was choked, unintelligible speech.
Any spell that required verbal components would be unusable. Of course, the cambion was swift and skilled with a blade. He thrust his longsword at the dragonborn, the girl screaming in pain. A bright red gash appeared on her side, hissing with heat and dripping blood.
cyan-os:
The projectiles disintegrated shortly after hitting their mark, leaving a harmless but painful tingle of electricity in their wake. Cyan began to roll in a reflex to try and put the flames out, and just barely managed to straighten himself before he would have crashed into a tree.
By the time he'd turned around and gotten back to the scene of the struggle, the dragonborn had sustained a pretty bad stab wound -- just how bad, he couldn't tell at a glance.
He circled both figures once, rethinking his strategy. The cambion seemed unable to speak, so he shouldn't be able to cast that flame spell again either; Hellish Rebuke, if he had to guess. Maybe the dragonborn had just given him the edge he needed.
More projectiles followed, materializing with a flap of the gryphon's wings before being launched in a volley at the cambion by the next.

paleobird:
"Just checking. You never know what you might come up with when you get a good night's sleep! Or, uh... go into standby mode, I guess." Either way.
Ava took a moment to think. "Hm... well, if you want to stay outside, we can check out one of the city parks! There's a lot around here, but the New Haven Green is probably one of the nicest that's not too far away."
She could fly across the city at a moment's notice, of course, but Cyan didn't have that luxury.
cyan-os:
"I have no preference one way or the other," Cyan inclined his head, "but I suppose it would be nice to stay in the fresh air." Gotta enjoy the morning while it lasted, right?
He looked Ava up and down for a second, then decided to make what he knew might sound like a strange offer.
"Would you like to ride on my back? We may be able to move around more quickly that way." He wasn't sure how much harpies were built for walking instead of flying, after all.
Felicity gave a shy but hopeful smile.
"Do you.. want to spend the day with me?" She asked him tentatively. Simply seeing if he wanted to hang out, so to speak.
His eyes widened at that, but how could he possibly say no? With a nod, he replied, "Yes. I would like that. Even if we don't have much to catch up on, it would be nice to spend some time together."
There were only so many Type:Full units - or Silvally, whatever you wanted to call them - out in the world, so it was only logical to stay on good terms with each other, but he'd obviously be lying if he said that was the extent of his reasoning.
"Is there somewhere you would like to go with me?"
“I doubt it.” Gladion said. “You were never registered, more than likely. Same with Silvally and Voodoo. Think of it more as a precaution so no one CAN catch you and take you away.”
He rubbed his chin for a moment. “Damn it… well, kind of embarrassing for a trainer. I don’t think I actually have a spare Pokeball. Ha.” He facepalmed and started to walk again. “Wonder if Lillie’s got one, or Shadow.”
"Right. If the others weren't registered, then it is likely that I wasn't either." All the more convenient, on the long run - and of course Cyan preferred the thought of being registered to Gladion than to he who shall not be named.
"It's all right. Registration can wait until I'm properly settled."
He paused. "For now, or once we finish this tour, I would like to give you access to the rest of my project files. Do you happen to have your Aether Foundation ID on you?" Looking around at the various Pokémon habitats, he added, "Or perhaps we should save this for your office."

She flushed a little at his admittance of missing her.
"Well, i missed you too. I've simply been busy, and uh. I've gotten used to things, all things considered." She said as she smiled at Cyan.
"What about you? Have you been doing okay?" She asked him.
"I didn't get a lot of news... So." She explained, unsure of what to say.
She wasn't the only one; a hint of blue appeared beneath the silver of Cyan's face, though he didn't quite understand why.
"It has been much the same for me," he replied. "I've been getting settled at the Aether Foundation now that I am all caught up on the events of the past years. I don't have any pressing tasks at the moment, however."

"You could say that." Agreed Felicity as she smiled.
"You could say, i took my hacking business a little more seriously. Thanks to Dad, i uh. Got a chance to learn a few things in ways that really pushed me." She said, flushing a bit.
"Let's just say, I'm very happy that its a lot more calm here than where i was. Less risks too."
Hacking, huh? Not exactly Cyan's expertise - while he was a recon unit, he'd always been more focused on analyzing data than obtaining it in the first place.
"Impressive," he told her. "At the same time, it's good to see you taking a break. It sounds like you've been working hard. That, and I must admit I missed you."
“Don’t ask me. Ask The Creation Trio. They were the first long ago…at least what Dialga said.” Chosen was still a new term, about 4 years old. Did he count some as Chosen? Depending on a lot of things. Minor legendaries didn’t count, like that ranger and his Darkrai.
“I don’t know what more to tell you Cyan.” Gladion said turning to him. “Should register you, so no one tries to catch you.”
Considering when Cyan had last learned about anything until today, it only made sense for him to be in the dark here. He was still mulling over the concept when Gladion's change in topic caught him by surprise.
"I might already be registered," he replied. "To F... er." Right, they didn't say that name anymore. "Is it possible to change or update such a registration? I would imagine so, but I don't know how. And I'm not certain if I was ever registered to begin with."

"Hey Cyan!" The Silvally chirped at her fellow robot dog.
She gave him a smile, wearing what was essentially a bit more... Futuristic gear?
A jacket that had glowing led lights for show at the collars, and a lot of pockets with wires, and things to jack into gadgets.
She looked... Good? She had a thing over her eyes that seemed to be helping her read some sort of data channel, and she smiling at Cyan.
---
Once they both broke away from the hug and he could get a proper look at her, Cyan found himself intrigued by the equipment she wore and carried. Aesthetics aside, she looked ready for a field mission of some kind or other.
"I haven't seen you in a while," he stated. "It looks like you've been doing well for yourself. Or am I wrong?"
Frankly, he had no idea what half of these gadgets could possibly be for... but he could appreciate the look they made together.
Cyan gets a Felicity hug! Squished into fluff!
"O-oh, hello, Felicity. I did not see you there." His tail begins to wag.
“Lunala.” He said and paused a moment. “Oh…right…uhh I should explain some things.” He started down the hall again, rubbing the back of his head.
“How do I put this…”
“He’s what Giratina dubbed a Chosen.” Gladion glanced down and covered his watch, rolling his eyes. He hated C.L.A.W. Sometimes, he swore it.
“Yes, I am what we call a Chosen. I was chosen by Lunala. Which, we found out was a…sister? to Giratina.” He got to a computer and started to type away on it, displaying the Necrozma events. “Lunala not only saved me, she helped save the world… Twice.”
"Lunala, as in..." Cyan thought back to the Solgaleo they'd seen in the room with Lillie, and his mind began to race with questions even as he kept walking alongside the others.
His internal archive had basic information about a lot of things, but not about the Chosen. It wasn't hard to figure out the gist of what it meant, though, even before looking over Gladion's shoulder and viewing the information on the screen.
"Fascinating." The lights in his eyes flickered. "Is it normal for legendary Pokémon who are siblings to choose humans who are also siblings?" Other duos, like Latios and Latias or Zacian and Zamazenta, came to mind.

night-gladion-and-their-ghosts:
Lillie gave a soft smile and waved back. Gladion lead him to a few spots that held Pokemon either waiting to be released back to the wild, or Pokemon forever in care of Aether.
Silvally followed behind. “The world has changed so much, Cyan. I can’t say what is next for us, for Aether.”
“For the league.” Silvally barked.
Gladion smirked a bit. “Yes, I am also a Sinnoh League member, I know the reigning champion. Good kid, you saw a picture of him when I showed you my phone, Cyan.”
cyan-os:
“Yes, I can tell.” Cyan looked this way and that as he walked, recognizing the layout of some parts of the facility while taking note of other, newer parts. Some things had been expanded or moved around, but he felt confident he’d be able to find his way around here in no time.
He only stopped at the mention of the Champion. “I see. You’ve achieved some... impressive things in the past decade or so.” Hard to believe this young man had already come so far in the time Cyan had been asleep. Still, being in the League was one thing, but in another region? That made him wonder.
“What brought you to Sinnoh?”
starlight-empire-child:
He hummed while putting his hand on his chin. The boy tilted his head as he got a better look around the room. "I dunno where we are.. my doctors usually open the doors and I have to stay in my room. Going out is bad for you!"
He sat himself down, looking for his pillow and dragging underneath his bottom to sit on. "The doctors have the funny long coats and big glasses! Or sometimes they have a big mask on too to hide their faces.. I think they're shy."
cyan-os:
The cyborg kept completely still for a moment, lost in thought. No one had taught or even programmed him to interact with a child, so he could only try his best to say and do what felt right.
"You say going out is bad for you. Do you also know why that is?"
Not one to blindly accept or discard such a warning, he needed to know if it had been a way to keep Myta under control or if there was a real threat to worry about. Maybe his species couldn't survive in sunlight, or something in the atmosphere was toxic to him?
