jud duplenticy would've thrived as a knight in the middle ages he'd gut dozens of men in battle or even just in a blind rage at a fair damsel's whim on a random tuesday and kneel before a noble king that homoerotically admires his strength and virtue and have feverish joan of arc dreams where christ himself tells him he's god's second favorite boy and sure yeah from time to time he'd fail some tests of virtue resulting in a curse by a wise old hag or hermit and he'd momentarily go insane and tormented with visions and guilt in the forest but eventually he'd repent and learn his lesson and make it back home from his quest just in time for yuletide. but unfortunately for jud duplenticy he grew up in the 2000s (in albany??) instead so killing men during contact sports and joining catholic priesthood were his only options.
