oi how do you think pianolipp got together 💢💢💢
wahhh why the hostility oomf, I'm just an innocent gal
anyway I have a lot to say about this particular subject... I can provide two different sides, so.. Bare with me here.
It's no doubt that both Lippmann and Pianoman lead pretty busy lives, right? Lippmann especially gets the short end of the stick by having two different lives to manage between one another, which is why I essentially believe pianolipp has always been the "both parties reciprocate but they don't go any further" dynamic. With that thought in mind, I think it makes sense to claim that they never truly got together under a label just because their lives prevented it;; prevented time for relationships. Lippmann "belongs" to the world after all or something like that, and the mafia has no room for getting attached to certain people.
Let's not forget pianolipp has a very polite dynamic between the two - mutual respect, that is;;, Lippmann always addresses Pianoman as a leader and a superior, and Pianoman, in return, recognises Lippmann's capabilities and both have great trust in each other. When you see a mutually respectful dynamic between two people, you can't help but wonder if either party would have the courage to confess having romantic feelings, right? It feels drastically different than what they are used to... Think about it, would you really want to tell your boss you have a crush on them or vice versa?
That being said however, they're both clearly good friends that are above a simple boss-subordinate work relationship and you can argue that politeness isn't necessarily a strict border here, which is... well, true, *so*, in the case they *were* to theoretically get together, I believe Pianoman would be the one dropping the ball.... Dating in the acting industry especially tends to come off as a slippery slope, bonus points if you're a celebrity, hence I believe Lippmann would even be hesitant to make the first move (side note, since he's the more "dramatic" one and would obviously have more knowledge on romance, I would think he realized he was in love first), despite the idea that he may be a heavy feeler and (in my hc) quite the romantic person.
That kind of already answers the question of "how" and "where" - somewhere, something private and romantic, Lippmann would absolutely hate any public stunt and I will die on this hill. Getting huge crowds involved in private moments is just.. ick, especially if it's supposed to be a romantic, tender moment!!! I don't think Pianoman would go out of his way to arrange some fancy shmancy/luxurious set up either, though - they give me the vibe to enjoy the simple classics... A heartfelt confession under the moon is just fine
To iterate, I'm not a great analyser nor a great writer so my thoughts are probably off or inaccurate, but this is just my two cents anyway because pianolipp can be whatever I want them to be heh
