I have finished my acoustic portrait as well!

I have record all the sounds by using Marantz PMD-661 and the AKG 414 Condensor Studio Microphone. By using these equipments, my project come out really good!

I have recored all the sounds in my room as i have my room created a closed area similar with the cinema. I played the movie and started recording, i have ate popcorn and drank coke, just like what i will do in the cinema.

I also recored the sound when you have your tickets tear-down, open the cinema door and the chatter before the movie was shown. These all done within the university.

I have finished my interview! Finally:D

I have used the Marantz PMD-661 to record and simply used the external microphones of Marantz as the mic. It comes out quite good, the interviewees voices were all quite good and clear to hear. Maybe because i did it in a closed area with no windows and door opened. Overall, i am happy with it.

The questions were as followed:

1. What is your name and where have you come from?

2. How long have you been studied in the UK?

3. Is there any differences between Brighton and your hometown?

4. Have you been to any places as well? if you do, compare with Brighton, which one you like better?

Italian, Chinese and English were asked, i believe that they matches my concept: international. Unfortunately, the English bit was cut as there is not enough time.

For the acoustic portrait, i am thinking to produce a sound track on ‘Cinema’. Because cinema is a ‘quiet’ place with only few sounds you are able to hear, for example, the sound from the movie, audiences having popcorn and drinks..etc. So i think it will be amazing if i can produce one.
