You liked my Solotov & Shooter TV posts? I gotta follow you on the off chance you ever talk about him. That character specifically is now like a permanent part of my lore. Thank goodness Ryan Ryan Phillippe's leg broke and we got road trip Solotov rather than shoot-out Solotov in his finale.
I may or may not be writing a 500k word origin omegaverse fic about Barsad here, and there's a lot of overlap between the Barsad in my brain and the Solotov in shooter. He's just my evil ugly hot favorite actor. 😅
Serendipitously uncovered a major obsession 😂 I have actually read some Barsad fics before, unrelated to my Solotov interest. The Dark Knight trilogy is great stuff 😋😋 True, Barsad has approximate similarities with Solotov. In my brain, Solotov overlaps with the Alex Rider character Yassen Gregorovich, the fan favourite and also an assassin. And those two have resulted in a number of copy-and-paste characters in my original fiction.
Solotov is so hard to write ☺️ Every time I write what’s meant to be an intimidating hitman character, I am trying and failing to capture his impression. Like:
> [rural doctor] You gotta take him to the hospital. I’m a vet!
> [Solotov, pissed] He’s an animal, fix him.
Fire fire fire 🤯🤯🤯 (As you can see, I still have approximate Shooter TV quotes memories 😂.)

Home office is coming together nicely, old man's back is doing well, been doing a LOT of data entry and billing code refinement as the clinic transitions to Idexx, and having flex hours works really nicely for me, Im in office twice a week for surgeries and complex layouts, but since my commute is now 90 min doing remote reception work has been huge. Been getting to the gym a bit more too. Just. Busy busy between Bite sports, work, and the move in with Mr Drafter.

So It Begins:
I am starting a billing consulting service for vet med. I'm still in R&D right now, and writing the DIY guides for people who want to implement the system on their own, but this is a big step. I'm working 3 days a week now at the clinic, and remoting in to work on our own inventory and billing management, but I'm actually taking a bit of a gamble here and starting this consultancy. So few people are actually pricing things, especially services in a way that reflects their actual overhead, and are basically revenue cycling instead of profiting. Stay tuned I suppose.
