Honestly I thought it was.. fine? But not much more than that. I ought to replay it at some stage, given there’s not a whole lot of it that I really remember, but I think generally it was pretty derivative, and lacked a lot of the charm and streamlined worldbuilding of the first game (that is to say that imo a lot of the creative decisions felt aesthetically-driven over thematically-driven). Also I was Not a fan of the anime-esque cutscenes lol - they were cute for trailers but I think they conflicted with the tone and style of the game.

But now we’re on the topic of sequels, I haven’t looked into it all that much but frankly im still baffled that they’ve made a Blasphemous board game lol I mean it might be good but it’s just so bizarre to me
