James Blake and Channel Tres have become friends over the last year after playing the same festivals around the world. They started sending beats back and forth, and this was the first time they got to work together in the studio.

What happens when you just listen to the environment around you? A city, a forest, a desert - melodies naturally occur. In this audio visual series, brothers Nick and Anthony Sylvester, the sonic and visual collaborators behind the likes of Shamir, Yaeji, and Channel Tres, explore what it means to create art and music by observation of the elements around you.

Nick Sylvester demonstrates a technique to harness the energy of a plant (or any object for that matter) and channel it into his own musical harmonies, along with the help of Intelligel machinery.
