suzie had heard lots of things about the realm's newest arrival, each whisper
and mumble causing her curiosity to grow, more and more, until finally...
she peers around the corner, leaning against a stone pillar, lurking around
what seems to be the innards of a castle, all staircases and long hallways. ๐โโ๏ธ
you know, when she was little, she wished in a place like this, a child's
unrealistic daydream, but one she gets lost in, even now. she wanted to
be a princess when she grew up, but, instead... she blinks a few times,
then shakes her head, snapping herself out of it, before continuing on. ๐โโ๏ธ
suzie hops up onto a nearby railing, balancing herself and walking, running her
hand along the wall, she thinks; this place was pretty, but awfully quiet, too. ๐โโ๏ธ
then, her foot catches on the uneven stone, and the girl begins to
stumble forward, she braces herself for impact, but it never comes.
instead, she is carefully set back on her feet, on stable ground. ๐โโ๏ธ
she peeks from between her fingers, a little surprised, but looking up
she sees her apparent hero, the towering woman in question. she'd
been caught in more ways then one. she squeaks, unsure what to do,
to say, but eventually manages to stammer something out, at least. ๐โโ๏ธ
" oh, um! hi, ma'am! it's like, totally nice to meet you! i didn't mean to
intrude or anything, you know. " suzie fidgets with her sleeves, lightly
gnawing at her bottom lip, knowing, well, that wasnโt completely true. ๐โโ๏ธ
