> 1. Saihara Shuichi.

>> This is My Girl. I LOVE Shuichi. As per usual with all of My favourite characters, I cannot recall the exact reason WHY I like him so much. I can be very sensitive towards treatment of Shuichi, so if you are mean to him, I will like you less. Shuichi is too good for all of them. He is the only one (except kind of Kokichi) who pulls the weight in the trials and investigations and everyone else just dicks around doing fuckall to actually HELP. I like how confident Shuichi got later on and I enjoy when people give him an attitude. It is wonderful. Yes, girl, snap at people, you deserve it! I also really like Shuichi’s English voice; it is very pleasant.

> 2. Ouma Kokichi.

>> They could never make Me hate you, Kokichi. He used to be My favourite 5 years ago, but Shuichi upstaged him when I got back into it. I really like his personality and I adore how complex he is. I understand him as a character and why he does what he does. I am also a sucker for antagonistic characters. I may like Shuichi more, but I feel very strongly about Kokichi and I will defend him to My urn. I really like Kokichi’s Japanese voice! And he calls everyone [Surname]-chan and that is delightful.

> 3. K1-B0.

>> I did not feel very greatly either way about Keebo until the end of Chapter 5, and then I automatically decided he was My third favourite. I always liked him, as a robot Myself, he just never did anything that really stuck out to Me at first. He also believed Kokichi’s last words, so he gets bonus points because I am very very very very spiteful about the end of Trial 5.

> 4. Iruma Miu.

>> I think she is funny! She is also smarter than people seem to remember she is, and her plan to kill Kokichi was actually pretty well thought-out! She got points off for being mean to very specifically Shuichi because that is My Girl right there and you CANNOT be mean to My Girl. Anyone else is fine, even Kokichi.

> 5. Chabashira Tenko.

>> I did not really like her much at first because I am not especially comfortable with sexism and that seemed like the primary focus of her character, or at least her most striking personality trait. But once I got to see more of her personality beyond hating men in Chapter 3, she really grew on Me. I am a bit sad that she died.

> 6. Akamatsu Kaede.

>> She is alright! I do not especially “like” her, but I do not hate her by any means either. Extremely optimistic, hopeful characters are not typically contenders for My favourite, but I respect her! She is also one of My brother’s and @yunalxc’s favourite characters, so I respect her for that, too.

> 7. Amami Rantaro.

>> He is fine. Not a lot of personality to go off of, but I do like him being more knowledgeable about the killing game due to his Survivor’s Perk. It is still really funny that he was the Ultimate Survivor and he was the first one to die.

> 8. Harukawa Maki.

>> I feel very on-and-off with her. I do want to like her, and she started growing on Me once she spent more time with Shuichi (even though she gave him a backhanded compliment...), but when it comes to Kokichi, it gets hard to always like her. When she so vehemently despises My second favourite character whom I would defend with My life——and she would, in fact, sacrifice the lives of everyone just to kill him——it gets a little tricky to rate her very high. She was very unbearable in Trial 5, and she directed that towards Shuichi, so.

> 9. Momota Kaito.

>> I am also on-and-off with him. He has some traits that I do like, and I suppose he helped Shuichi come out of his shell and gain more confidence, but I actually find Kaito’s optimism and enthusiasm to be incredibly draining. If I were in a hopeless situation and he gave one of his speeches to inspire more hope, it would actually make Me feel *less* hopeful, because I am a pessimist and an introvert, so he is just too much for Me. He is also kind of sexist——and allegedly homophobic in the Japanese version——so that is.. uncomfortable.

> 10. Tojo Kirumi.

>> There is nothing of great significance that makes her lean too far either way for Me. She kind of talks like I do, which is nice, but she did get a little worse after receiving her motive video.

> 11. Gokuhara Gonta.

>> Contrary to very popular opinion, I do not care about Gonta. Like, at all. I did not give a fuck about his death in the slightest, nor did I really feel bad for him at any point during Trial 4. However, I do not water him down like some people seem to do. I have seen people claim that he “did not know what he was doing” when he killed Miu. He did. He may be slow, gullible, and not very intelligent, but he is not a child——not more than anyone else is. He understands what death and murder mean. He knew what he was doing——he thought about it, he said what he did, he did not *have* to go through with Kokichi’s plan. He chose to kill Miu. I do not dislike him, though. I just do not care.

> 12. Hoshi Ryoma.

>> He is such a nothing character to Me. He died early on and had nothing going on that particularly intrigued Me. He died, oh well, whatever.

> 13. Angie Yonaga.

>> I am not particularly religious and the discussion of religion actually makes Me pretty uncomfortable, so she already was not making the list of My favourites, since that was pretty much her entire character. She was very annoying in Chapter 3 with the stupid Student Council nonsense. I was with Kubz Scouts in his excitement when she died. I did not really like her, especially as she progressed.

> 14. Shirogane Tsumugi.

>> She is boring and annoying. Knowing she is the Mastermind the entire time makes her dialogue extremely irritating. She is a dirty liar, and not even in a fun way like Kokichi. I get she HAS to lie because she is the Mastermind, but can’t she be a little less boring? Shuichi would be a significantly better Mastermind than her and I would enjoy it more, too.

> 15. Shinguji Korekiyo.

>> He makes Me very uncomfortable. I have seen people say that he is “misunderstood”, and honestly, I do not fucking care. I actually think the reasons people have given for him being a sympathetic character are not even canon, so... Even without the incest plot line (which is awful to witness), he is just really weird and uncomfortable. I do not even fucking like anthropology. The only thing I like about him is his eye colour.
