August 11th, 2019 - Khalid Concert 🎶

Attended all 3 days of the Philly Trans Conference this year and loved every minute of it! We attended some amazing panels, got super comfortable with taking the train, donated to a a clothing drive (two big bags full!!), purchased merch from lgbtqia+ companies, explored the city on foot, went to some amazing food places, and felt allllll the love and inclusion that the conference had to offer. ❤️ Honestly it was a hard adjustment when it was all over and we had to get back to the real world. Can’t wait for next year already. @transl8

July 18th, 2019 - I REALLY Graduated 🎓

I did it! (Almost. There’s one ceremony for all of the graduates but since my class started in September, we all had a month left of school until all of our hours are complete) Though I still had to go to school after my graduation, this still made it all feel so real. I’d be really finishing 10 months of hard work and dedication. I came to this school and decided on this career with so much hope but honestly a little bit of fear. Through the lifelong friends I’ve made, experiences I’ve gone through and knowledge I’ve gained, I am more confident than ever in my abilities and myself as an individual. I can’t help but thank my amazing support system, especially my boyfriend and the 5 girls that are now like my sisters for always cheering me on. I can’t believe time went by so fast and here we are, almost done. But now all the real fun begins ❤️🎓👩🏻‍🎓
