Meet Maya! Maya and I met at a dome that had huge plastic windows. The dome was set up by the Radical Faeries in a project that related to striving towards sanctuary. A group of us, most who had only met that day, did nude and semi-nude photos in this temporary structure with people coming and going on the campus. Maya was going through a hard period of time. At the time I didn't realize how much she was going through. I'm touched that she shared this time with me and told me some of her story.

This photo will be a part of Edges and Curves my project that's open to all genders and sizes in the lgbtqi+ community.

I had the pleasure of photographing Connor in London. This was one of my favorite spots to shoot it was in the backyard of the place I was staying. Little tiny overgrown postage stamp of a backyard. But lots of good sunlight. Connor was naturally very at ease and his body and it took very little to direct him. Such a fun shoot! Juan and I met in Madrid. He was visiting from Buenos Aires and me from the U.S. We fast became friends. We shared bull stew one night at a pub a block where i was staying. (Still kicking myself for not taking more photos of that tiny little Street. My neighborhood was beautiful. But I was always tired and between photo shoots and rushing around busy streets of gay pride).

This photo is it part of my Fat Gayze project, capturing large non-binary people and men that are bi, pan, queer, androphilic* or gay. After I finish my own website I will be collaborating with other artists that photograph fat men and non-binary people. I am still searching for more artists and models.
