antiracism is a constant process. i was raised in a racist village and it's not easy to get rid of it. i moved away over 10 years ago but those ideas are still haunting me.

partially-managed mental illness is so fucking funny i'll be sitting around doing my job and suddenly think "wow i hate myself" and immediately get confused because, like, that's not TRUE! i love myself so much. who are you to talk to me like that

I have similar stuff, but the one that sticks with me is "I miss my life." I don't anymore! I used to! But my brain just has these like "sadness ruts" worn into it that my train of thought just defaults to when I feel sad.

I actually don't know if you're 'supposed' to bury your lovely friend's dumb faces into your crotch and pits to shut off their brains before using them however you please, but I've never been corrected so
