Finished blanket! The top pictures don’t do the colours justice due to poor lighting. The bed is a double, and the cat is a constant in any crochet images that are bigger than an amigurumi. Sigh. The bottom is an accurate representation of the colours!

Originally, this blanket was started out of boredom...but my Aunt liked it so much she demanded I finish it. So I have, for her. Time was of the essence with this one, and I’m glad I got it done in good time! 

Yarn: Bernat Super Saver Baby Pink + White

I will get better pictures later, but here is an egg amigurumi, made for himehorse on starpatched‘s request! 

This is my first time using safety eyes! I love them. I also ended up needing to use regular cotton thread for the mouth as opposed to embroidery thread, but the result is still adorable to me. 

Pattern: Sunny side up tawashi

Safety eyes: 6mm. Purchased from Snacksies Handicraft Corner

One day I will stop drawing Amrita, but today is not that day.

I had ‘Let it go’ from Frozen on repeat for this, and I am a little uncomfortable at how good of a song it is for her...if you imagine it a lot darker than it actually is...

Now that she has it, I can post this!

I made an ice cream jellyfish for every-day-is-sandwich-day! The cone was made from following this tutorial, and the ice cream top + jellyfish pieces were based off of a youtube octopus tutorial, which can be found here. I wish I had thought to get better pictures of it!

I will definitely be making more of these, they were very fun! Anyone want to suggest my next ice cream jellyfish?

Continuing my beginner crochet: A pillow! It’s kinda big. Also the patch is actually a nicer rectangle sewn on properly but apparently awkwardly, just added messy stitching for appearance sake. 

And yes, I do use Jon Stewart’s ‘America’ textbook as a laptop stand sometimes. It was the closest hardcover to me at the time, ok.

It’s not art, but I did my first crochet octopus amigurumi today! It apparently lost a couple tentacles to shark week. Also it doesn’t have eyes yet, because I can’t find my extra buttons...
