okay folks its been a long ass time (im very sorry) but today marks a year since I first saw Call Me By Your Name and I’m an emotional wreck!!!!! First off, right now I’m currently in France doing a semester abroad and the school I’m at literally has the aesthetic of cmbyn and reminds me so much of it that I’m constantly dying. But anyway wow a year since I first saw cmbyn. Literally not to be over dramatic or anything but that movie changed my life. So many good things came out of me seeing that movie. I’ve met so many amazing people, I’ve learned so much more about films and the film industry, I met Timothee Chalamet, and I saw Armie Hammer in person. While watching the movie today for the 8th(?) time I realized how much of cmbyn is a feeling and a state of mind. I’m so envious of myself a year ago who was so immersed in that feeling, but at the same time I’m happy to be where I am today with the knowledge and life lessons I’ve learned from that film. Ahhhh theres so much I could say but at the same time I cant completely put it in words. To some it all up I cant believe it has been a year but at the same time this past year, because of the movie has been amazing and I think really shaped who I am today.
