Some completely random E/R/C headcanon dynamics I've been thinking about lately!

Sexuality, gender, and queerness galore below ↴

♱ Raoul struggles with sexuality a lot. Obviously, he comes from a too stereotypically rich snd famous family who yes, accepted him as a trans man, but "as long as he's straight". luckily Philippe is there and supports him as much as possible.

♱ This is why at first Raoul himself is very taken aback from his attraction to Erik. He wants to deny it, but it's there, just like Christine, the moment they both hear his voice.

♱ I feel like, in a context where Erik is also genuinely a bit into him, Raoul would, in a way reciprocate the feelings, up until he sees his face, which in a way, also affects Erik and Christine's relationship.

♱ On the other hand, Erik has also just started to discover himself and what Genders He Likes, and it'd be interesting if he was into raoul first. unfortunately, no matter how charming and cute Raoul finds Erik, he cannot get over the discomfort that his physical appearance causes him.

♱ Then, Raoul gets more into Christine, and Erik is jealous of the entire structure of the relationship instead of just "oh nooo another guy is into the girl I like". He's jealous that Raoul is into someone who's beautiful in ways he'll never be, and he's jealous that Christine (at first) seems to be into it.

♱ The big difference between Christine/Erik and Raoul/Erik? Christine is into Erik as a whole, and doesn't give a damn about his appearance, she's essentially the opposite of what Erik thinks she is due to his prior experience with Raoul.
