  when it comes to the cheetah moniker, both priscilla rich and deborah domaine had it before barbara ann.  however priscilla’s motives were very different to barbara’s (they came out of jealousy rather than revenge) and deborah was brainwashed by kobra into becoming her aunt’s alter ego.

  barbara is still in contact with deborah, as priscilla has passed from old age and they get along handsomely with deborah being one of the largest financiers for the secret society though her many husbands and her own family inheritance.

     just because she had been captured,  ( by pure luck ! )  did not mean that she was not still dangerous.  his cockiness annoyed her, he quite obviously thinks that he is better than her.  he’s a hero, she a villain.  did he not do his research ?  that she’d had no choice in the matter to become what she was.  that she had been cured and then SACRIFICED HERSELF to protect others, only to be tortured and abandoned by the wayside as if she had chosen to be a man eating monster !  revenge fuels her, his interference meant little.

  oh how she wished this one would just stay dead.  out of all the villains so lucky to have nine lives, roman sionis didn’t deserve his.  he was a headache to deal with and a thorn in her side.  one of the many to foolishly underestimate her when she was not her feral self.  barbara ann and the cheetah were now one being.  but she doesn’t need her claws to rip apart this one.  that’s what words were for and like most men, all she needed to do was pluck at his ego for him to realize that interrupting her as she speaks was not the BEST of ideas.

   ❝ you need to stop relying on others. it’s your weakness.  the joker, poison ivy, catwoman.  you’ll always end up alone in the end. ❞      barbara ann has always inherently disliked harley.  far too much disorganized energy, too much of a risk.  and she ALWAYS got on her nerves.  sure, she had points for setting her up that one time, but that had fizzled out quickly.  circe hadn’t quite liked the competition for barbara ann’s —– time.   wasn’t quite sure where fauna had ended up being transported to by circe.  she could be a gnat now, for all barbara ann knew.  didn’t really care if she was being honest with herself.

  barbara ann is a villain.  if she finds out weaknesses, she will use them against people (ie, diana and her compassion)  she runs the secret society of supervillains and has graduated from running it behind the scenes to in front of it, with circe, killer frost and poison ivy being her main enforcers.  

barbara’s idea for revenge against the gods for inflicting her with the cheetah and being involved with her demise involves uniting all the women that the gods have wronged over the millennia, including pasiphaë (forced partner of zeus), procris (tragedy figure, murdered by her husband bc he fell in love with eos), atalanta (tricked by aphrodite and forced to marry against her will), io (forced partner of zeus), erida (the goddess of hate) and agave (murdered her own son under the influence of dionysus)  as well as befriending the strix to kill those who found out about her plans too early.  circe is also heavily involved as her second in command.  

barbara ann was beautiful when she was younger, in a kinda shabby, nerdy chic kind of way.  she rarely wore make up (the dead aren’t exactly gonna care if she’s wearing rouge or not ya know) and she was always dedicated to her work.  

after becoming the cheetah and being turned back, something changed in her appearance too.  she was thinner and her hair chopped short, but she also changed in her face and the way she looked.  she had more of a habit of looking through people and that only got worse after she got cured by circe.

SINS:  greed  /  gluttony  /  sloth  /  lust  /  pride  / envy  /  wrath VIRTUES:  chastity  /  charity  /  diligence  /  humility /  kindness  /  patience  /  justice PRIMARY GOALS IN LIFE:  to prove that amazons and the greek gods exist, and to meet them.   as cheetah it is to get her revenge on the greek gods for ruining her life. LANGUAGES KNOWN: english, ancient greek, ancient babylonian, ancient latin, italian, greek and four other languages. SECRETS:  she runs the secret society of supervillains, not circe. SAVVIES:  barbara ann has a massive head for languages.  the greek mythos is her absolute life and she has an unwavering belief in them, especially the amazons.

BUILD:  scrawny  /  bony  /  slender  / fit /  athletic  /  curvy  /  herculean  /  pudgy  /  average HEIGHT: 5′7 SCARS / BIRTHMARKS: severe scarring on her left leg from a rock fall.  she has to use a walking stick whenever in mortal form. ABILITIES / POWERS:  as barbara, she has no abilities at all.  as cheetah she has the abilities of the animal, as well as the ability to speak.  however it comes at a cost — she is extremely bloodthirsty and does eat human flesh. RESTRICTIONS: she has a severely injured leg from an accident during an archaeological trip. she rarely speaks of how it happened.   she is also severely emotionally scarred from her first and second transformations into the cheetah, especially being abandoned by the gods to her fate and ares refusing to see her.
