“you’re my favorite photographer, you get my good sides” ⊹ ࣪ ˖ ໒꒱peter parker x fem!reader

Working with Journaling and her main line of work being photography, since Y/n felt more gravitated towards the fact that pictures can mean more than just pictures.
They hold life, a still moment in time that means something to someone more than anyone else could imagine. A picture could hold emotions, and so much more, so it wasn’t as big of a surprise that she would work in that line.
Working for one of the biggest newspaper printers in New York. Being a journalist as well, she would also have to back up what she was printing pictures of.
Sure, there had been times she got a rather bad picture, but over time with Spiderman working more and more frequently, she found herself getting luckier with capturing him in action.
She had her secrets as to how she got such pictures in such angles, but her work definitely didn’t go unnoticed.
Her boss gave her several words of good from how well the pictures were and how clear they had been. He put her pictures on the front pages numerous times with large headlines in bold letters.
Sometimes saying–” Spiderman Saves The City Yet Again.”
And a few others that Y/n would recommend they placed. Some of them being direct quotes from what she heard Spiderman say in the middle of a fight.
Though she had been recognized through work, she never thought she would be seen by Spiderman himself. So she never worried about it.
Today, yet another fight had broken out from someone who tried to break into a high facility. Spiderman arrived at theme right after a crowd had already surrounded the spot.
Y/n knew that he would be there, so she needed to get a closer picture of the scene itself. With her camera around her neck, it was held from the thicker black strap.
Being comforted in her large jacket since it was a bit colder outside, she watched as he finally swung in, ready for action.
Getting her camera ready and taking numerous pictures of him punching, webbing the villains to nearby walls, and saving bystanders from getting hit by anything thrown their way.
As Y/n snapped her pictures, she didn’t take the time to realize that a nearby piece of the building that had fallen apart had been right behind her, ready to fall.
“Miss!” Peter yelled as he hurried his way up to her and swung her away from it right in time. Y/n gasped as she hugged him instantly.
“What! Oh god! Was I about to be crushed? Oh my–this camera costs way too much!” Y/n frantically yelled as she was pulled and sprung to a clear building nearby.
“More than your life?” He joked as Y/n looked at him once more.
Finally being settled onto the building, she looked around at the snow-covered city around her.
“Uh…well, thank you for saving me back there.” She nervously smiled as he nodded.
“It’s what I do. You work with the newspapers?” Spiderman asked as she hurried and nodded.
“Yes! I’m Y/n–”
“Y/n! Oh! I know exactly who you are!” He pointed at her; she could hear a smile in his voice.
“You do?” Y/n tilted her head, watching as he nodded, placing his hands on his hips.
“Yeah! You’re my favorite photographer.” He confessed to her, making Y/n’s eyes widen.
“I am?”
“Yes! You get my good sides all the time! How do you do that so well?” Spiderman had been looking at her as if he hadn’t just finished fighting just a second ago.
“Uh, I just always arrive early.” She shared as he gave her a nod of understanding.
“Yeah, I always see you.” He admitted, making her heart beat a little too hard.
“You do?”
“Yeah!”
This made her grow nervous before she heard the police sirens, as he did too; he came back to his senses and noticed that he had to get back to work.
“Well uh, I better go. There’s an elevator over there. Stay safe, Y/n.” He spoke her name as if he knew her so well. Making Y/n smile wide.
“Okay–Wait! Can I get a picture of you?” She asked, holding up her camera to him, which he nodded towards.
Standing near the ledge and giving her a peace sign, she took the picture with a wide smile before watching him swing away.

When Peter knew that there had been a problem that he needed help on knowing that he was a solo kind of guy at the moment. He immediately thought of someone he knew would help him.
Getting to the main place that she would be at all times of her day, he stepped into the quiet room.
“Hey uh, I’m looking for Y/n?” he spoke, looking around the room through the eyes of his mask and suit. Since he was still wearing the whole spiderman suit, he was met with an old lady.
“Left room,” She simply stated, handing him a towel as he looked around the room.
“Uh, okay…thanks.” He muttered.
Making his way to the room where he had been instructed to go, he was met with a large shower room that smelt of lavender and bath salts.
“Hello?” His voice echoed before he finally caught the voice of who he had been looking for.
“Peter! I see you have entered my office.” She smiled. His eyes turned to her immediately to see she had been completely nude under the water, but he couldn’t completely see her since the water was pretty murky for the most part.
Shoulders glistening from the water that fell around her.
“What? You’re office?” He copied while looking at her in curiosity. She smiled, nodding her head as she hummed.
“Mhm. And you need to get your clothes off.” She simply noted to him. Bringing her hand up from under the water and pointed at him as he immediately choked on spit.
“Uh…” His cough and voice echoed once more before she moved her hands under the water.
“Go on. Go change.” She told him once more, pointing at the open stalls for him to change in.
Seeing that he would just lose in a fight like this with her, he did what she asked, but kept on his mask since he knew it would annoy her.
Once he had his suit off, he kept his underwear on along with his mask. Wrapping the towel around his waist as he walked out of the stall to be met with Y/n’s wide eyes.
“Aw, no fun.” She pouted as he only smiled.
Getting into the water across from her, he watched her closely as she stared at his torso that disappeared under the water.
“What do you need my help for anyway? I’m busy all the time.” Y/n looked at him with a tilt of her head.
After telling her what he needed her help with, she groaned, setting her head back.
“Y’know Yelena could call this little potato business.”
“Little? And what would be big?” He snorted as she shrugged. The water moved around her body once more.
“I don’t know, actually.” She hummed. Looking around the room as they let the silence come around them once more.
Peter failed to realize how close Y/n swam to him from her original position.
The water was the only thing between them as she looked at his chest, her eyes gravitating back to his masked eyes.
“I hate when you hide from me.” She quietly admitted. Pulling her wet hand up from the water and moving up to his mask so that she could move it from his chin and lips.
Her polished nail moving across a bruise that he had on his chin before kissing his lips softly.
His heart beating so hard that he completely forgot about everything in hand. Letting himself completely be surrounded by her and the emotions she gave off, he hummed into it before she pulled away.
“So how’s being a new Avenger?” He teased, watching her roll her eyes.

“Come on, Doc! We fight all the time!” Y/n yelled as she webbed a nearby broken piece of building that she was previously thrown into and hurled it at the Doc, who only blocked it with his power.
“Ah, Spider-woman, always with the jokes.” He angrily sighed as she only shrugged her shoulders with a head nod of agreement.
“Well yeah, who else is gonna keep the mood light since I know you won’t?” Just as she finished her sentence, another power surge threw her into another building that she managed to twist her body to avoid.
Sighing heavily as she jumped into the air so that she could web onto something, she started feeling that tenseness in her mind. Hurrying and moving in another direction, just as she did she watched a newspaper box fly by.
“Hey! Don’t throw mail at me!” She yelled, finally managing to get somewhat behind him, her legs coming around his shoulders as she hit his face repeatedly with her fist; he spun around in pain.
Webbing his hands and legs as he tried to spin her loose, Y/n suddenly felt the building below her jolt down.
“I have told you time and time again, spider-girl–”
“Woman! It’s woman!” She yelled, looking around at the sudden change of scenery. Not wasting time, she jumped down and tried to do for his source of power, the infuser that he had running on ten all the time that injected him with power.
“I have no time to have you in my way.” He cut through with anger. Seething at her as she let her eyes slowly widen, a source of power throwing her back into a nearby wall as he pierced it with a piece of fallen building.
“Hey!” Y/n groaned as she tried to push it away from her, but it didn’t help once she felt the pain and exhaustion fill her body.
“So, you will be no more.” The doc finished with a wicked grin as Y/n looked at him with furrowed eyebrows.
“What?” She coughed. Watching as he stabbed himself with a new power.
“No! Doc, think about what you’re doing! The people you’ll hurt!” She whined, watching as he only smiled at her.
“I don’t care. Bye-bye, spidergirl.” He’d laughed as he suddenly shot at the brick wall behind her.
Suddenly, she let her eyes widen, feeling the surface behind her disappear completely before she was thrown into a world of stars.
“Whoa, I think he shot me with a drug or something!” She yelled as she fell farther and farther down wherever she was. The purple and pink filling around her before it suddenly turned into a tunnel.
Yelling as the light in front of her turned brighter and brighter, she squeezed her eyes as tight as she could.
༄˖°.🍂.ೃ࿔*:・
The next thing she felt was a dog licking the side of her face.
Letting her gloved hand move up to her face as she blinked behind the mask, forcing her eyes on the outside of her suit to move as well.
“Thank you, dog, but please.” She groaned while sitting up. Forcing her hand to rub the back of her head as she blinked in pain.
“Ugh, I have the back of a grandma,” Y/n complained while standing completely.
She looked around where she had been and noticed it was just a nearby alley that she fell into. So whatever the Doc gave her must have just put her to sleep so he could get away.
Stretching her arms a bit, she went to wrap up the building and looked around. She tried to pull out her phone but saw it was completely busted.
“Shit.” She whispered to herself before looking around the skies and buildings below. Hearing the people and sirens all around.
“Stacey?” She spoke to her AI assistant that he created.
The voice started breaking in and out.
“Hello?” She winced a little, looking down to see a wide scratch on the side of her suit and ribs where she could see an evident mark of oozing blood.
Staycey’s busted and she's bleeding, amazing. Her healing factor was a little slow overall, but when she was really moving, it went faster.
“I have to get home.” She whispered to herself before webbing to another building and swinging away into the skies.
As the music in her earpiece played, Y/n groaned to herself in pain, trying to ignore it for the most part.
“Help!” She heard someone yell. This caught her attention very quickly. Looking down as the broken ends of her suit zoomed in on what was happening. She saw a large number of people dressed in all black.
Hurrying her way down with a few flips and all, she landed with a small stumble.
“I’m here!” She yelled, shooting webs at several people and pushing them back into the floor and walls of buildings.
“Who even are you?” One of them yelled, making her turn around in a hurry.
“Wow! That actually really hurt. I slept for a few hours over, and suddenly everyone forgot me?” She playfully winced, looking at the masked men before she took a deep breath.
“You are not spiderman!” Another yelled in the other direction.
“When was I ever a man?” She scoffed, looking around as other people started to crowd the surrounding area.
“Okay…” She breathed, feeling the sudden pain come back before she blinked to try and reground herself.
“Are you a new superhero?” Someone asked, turning around in several directions to show even more people.
“I’m…I’m me? Come on, guys.” She nervously laughed. Looking at people as they held up their phones.
Seeing that this wouldn’t get any better, she sighed to herself and swung up to another building so she could try and find home.
But the more she went, the more she swung, the more lost she got.
It was like her home, the city, and the air that she would breathe in time and time again where she would find comfort. But there were different corners, different buildings, and people she had never seen before.
She couldn’t find home, and she couldn’t understand anything anymore.
Where the hell was she?
༄˖°.🍂.ೃ࿔*:・
Turning around, Peter looked at his phone, which showed this new hero that people are already starting to love.
“E.V?” He slowly asked, looking around the room that had been dark and gloomy. A severe difference from what he used to live in.
The comfort of light and love that was given to him from his aunt and his best friends. Ever since things happened with Strange, he had been whipped from everyone's minds as Peter Parker.
But he was still Spiderman.
“Yes, Peter?” E.V spoke as he hurried to the computer chair and dek to look into whoever this new person was.
“Do we have any face identification on this new spidergirl?” He asked, typing away as E.V pulled up her own work on a separate screen.
“No. It seems she has no trace of existence.”
“How does that even work?” Peter whispered to himself as he looked at the computer screens of surveillance that he had access to.
Zooming into the woman's suit that looked just like his but in a different color, he tilted his head a little and suddenly heard a commotion on the roof above him.
Looking up and thinking it was a nearby cat, he looked back down before it happened again.
“E.V?”
“Yes, Peter?” She hummed.
“Check the cameras on the north cameras, please.” He spoke quietly, itching over to his suit and looking around at the screen.
“It is the woman.” She spoke. This made him hurry his actions and open the window facing the city.
As he walked slowly on the walls, Peter looked around and squinted his eyes in focus.
“Scan the surfaces,” Peter spoke quietly. Just his image ran clear before turning completely black.
He was able to see the brightly colored silhouette of this new spidergirl.
“She seems to share the same abilities and symbiote as you,” E.V spoke into his ear as he finally came to look over the edge of the building with his eyes only, squinting ever so slightly.
The same?
But as far as he knew, he’d been the only one with this power.
Suddenly he heard a groan. Looking at the girl as she looked around in frantic circles, he observed as she moved her hand to her ribs.
She had been bleeding, and he could tell it hurt just for the fact he’d been hurt there before too.
Getting onto the roof quickly and quietly, he made a noise out of all possibilities.
“Who’s that!” She yelled; he could hear the worry and fear in her voice.
“Hello?” She yelled once more.
Holding his hands up above the power box first, suddenly a string of webs forced his hands down.
“Whoa! I surrendered! I held my hands up; come on! Not cool!” Peter yelled as he stood up and could see a full view of her, ready to fight.
The image of him being in her view now made her slightly falter.
“Sorry! I’m…Okay, what is this prank day? Nobody knows me, and you’re wearing that?” She groaned, holding her hands on her head in stress.
“Says you? How long does this take to loosen?” He groaned, pulling at his stuck hand as she stepped back.
“I don’t know; it’s organic.” She said dismissively while turning back around to search her surroundings.
“Organic?” Peter wondered, catching her attention once more. The outside eyes of her suit were exactly like his.
“Yeah! Like, it actually is really good; it comes from my wrist, and I don’t use web-shooters anymore–wait! Okay, don’t throw me off! Who’re you?” She shook her head before getting too deep into her conversation.
“I’m spiderman! You’re the spidergirl?”
“Woman! Woman! I’m twenty-two, and I’ve been doing this for way too long to be called girl. I mean, I get back sores in the middle of the night.” She stressed once more as Peter finally felt the web soften.
“Okay, sorry. I’m sorry. Spiderwoman. Uhm…do you know where you are?” He asked softly.
Holding up his hands as he heard her heart slow.
“No. No, i’m lost. I need…I need a bed.” She suddenly collapsed, making Peter hurry to her side to catch her.
“E.v?” He breathed nervously, holding the still woman in his arms as the eyes to her suit now closed.
“Yes?”
“Run a test. Is she okay? Is she breathing?” He’d worried for her for no particular reason; he just knew that he felt something was off, but not with her in general.
“She has lost a significant amount of blood. Her vitals are steady, and her body is trying to regenerate the lost blood and cells. She has a healing factor just like yours. She just needs some rest.”
Peter sighed once more, looking down at her in his arms before he decided that he couldn’t just leave her out here.
༄˖°.🍂.ೃ࿔*:・
Sitting in a chair nearby as he watched her. Peter did the best he could to try and stitch her up through the suit while still maintaining secrecy since he didn’t know who she was.
She didn’t know if she had been a villain or someone in secret trying to find out who he was so they could stalk and torment him.
But the more she slept the more curious he got of her.
Who was she? How’d she magically show up? If she had this power for long, she defidnatly kept it under secrecy. But if she hadn’t they would have been bound to run into each other sooner or later.
So why hasn’t he?
In the bathroom while he washed his hands, Peter decided to change out of the suit but keep the mask on so that he could still remain secret.
“Whoa! Okay, am I being kidnapped right now?” He heared her yell from the room outside.
Hurrying and see her now frantically looking around the room, he held up his hands once more.
“Hey!It’s okay! You passed out on my roof from blood loss and I stitched you up. Nobody is kiddnappng you.” He reassured her as she slowly let her heart rate come down.
“Where am I?” She breathed nervously.
“My house? Well, apartment. Well…attic? Storage unit? That’s what it used to be until I took over.” He explained as she paid him no mind with her eyes but he could tell she was listening.
“It’s a mess.” She groaned, kicking over a nearby empty bag of chips.
“Okay, rude? Sorry, I wasn’t expecting guests.” He’d rushed to pick it up as she stepped back from him.
“I need to get home.” She muttered, bringing her hand up to her masked face as he nodded.
“Okay, I can try and help you. Do you know where it is? The address.” Peter started his journey to his computers as he waited for her to talk.
“Yeah, it’s here.”
“Yeah, we all live here, I guess? Like a universal thing, but I mean–”
“No, like, I live here. This is where my home is. Or was? It’s like everything changed when Dr. Kahli–”
“Doctor who?”
“Kahli, Otto Kahli?” She tried to jog his memory, only for Peter to move his hands in a shrug.
“Oh god…I’m lost; this isn’t right; something isn’t right. He did something, and I fell in this portal thing and…I’m lost.” She groaned, covering her eyes once more as Peter turned to face her directly.
“Portal?”
“Yeah, he shot something at me, and at first I thought it was drugs or something. But then I woke up in an alley, and nobody remembers me, and there's another me? But it's you, and I’m definitely not a guy last I checked.” She rambled while he listened closely.
“Okay. This Dr. Kahli guy cast a spell, you’re here and–”
“This isn’t my world. My dimension. I thought this stuff was made up, but that explains a lot. There's no me, there's no home.” She finally realized as Peter did too.
He would have asked someone; he could have asked Dr. Strange, but he was away, and he had nobody other than himself and E.V.
“I have to go home. I have people who need me! They’re in danger.” She stressed, looking around the room so she could leave.
“Okay, wait, you have no idea where you are. This spell that whoever you said cast isn’t here. How will you get home?” Peter tried to reason as she sighed.
“I don’t know! I just need to get home; I have to! They’re all I have left.” Her voice started to falter. He sadly watched as she looked around the room so she could leave.
“Wait! I can try and help.” Peter cut through as if his voice suddenly had a life of its own. Her movements stalled as she turned to him.
“How?”

friendly neighborhood spiderwoman ⋆. 𐙚 ˚ bob reynolds x superhero!reader
summary: ⋆. 𐙚 ˚ y/n and bob have been saying for a while now, to be realistically speaking ever since she first saw him in the room they were supposed to die in. Him feeling the exact same, they try to be a couple, a normal couple who read books together, drink tea and watch movies, except, she’s spiderwoman and he’s, well, Bob.
warnings ⋆. 𐙚 ˚ small angst, y/n is spiderwoman, missed dates, blood, near death experiences, bob feeling in the way, humor, the thunderbolts (ava, john, alexie, yelena), fluff ending, mentions of sex but not explicitly describing, mentions of fear of losing someone, y/n has a back tattoo.
Y/n and Bob had been dating for a while now, not entirely too long but for a good amount of time for the two do them to get a general idea on what they were.
To bob, they were boyfriend girlfriend, probably even husband and wife. Well, she didn’t think that but he did.
Then again they really didn’t talk about what all they were they just knew they were something more than just friends. They kissed, held hands and even did more things behind closed doors only meant for the two of them.
However, Y/n was someone more than Bob.
Bob had power, sure he was The Void, The Sentry and at the end of the day, just Bob.
But Y/n? She was Spiderwoman.
She would tell him time and time again before he fell asleep how she got her powers. Telling him that she was on a field trip in collage at a high ranking science lab.
They did studies on many things including having access to vaccines, serums and ultimately the spider that bit her.
She’d gotten her powers immediately right after she got bit on the back of her neck. Even now there had been a scar left from where the teeth of the spider bit her.
Y/n would tell Bob how she realized she could stick to things on accident. He’d ask how with the widest smile and she would embarrassingly admit that she had been shaking the hand of her all time crush Peter Parker.
Later on she found out she could actually do things. Super things like, super hearing, super strength and durability. That’s when she knew she wanted to be someone who helped others.
Bob admired and loved her for that. Taking up for what’s right and doing more with herself other than taking her power for only her and her alone.
But, as much as he loved her for it, he also grew jealous of those who got to see her more than him. Sure, whatever, half of the time it was elders getting their purses stolen but whatever.
He still was allowed to feel jealous of an old lady.
But tonight, she promised. She promised she would stay and finally watch the movie they’d been saving to watch together for over a month now.
“Oh! Bob get extra popcorn—“
“Extra popcorn? How do I conjure up extra popcorn?” He laughed softly as Y/n groaned.
“Two bags!”
“Two?”
“My tummy’s rumbling. Super DNA running thick recently.” She groaned while sitting back into the dark colored couch. The entire space of the new Avengers tower had been darker since everyone was away or sleeping.
Giving the space to just the two of them just how he wanted it.
“Extra butter too honey, with salt! pinch of sugar.” She turned back around to face the TV, looking down at her phone and humming.
He snorted once more, shaking his head while the now second bag of popcorn rotated in the microwave.
Once it was done, he made his way over to the couch with the large glass both in hand as Y/n hurried and looked at him. Smiling wide as she reached her hand into the bowl on his lap.
“I-it’s still hot?” He smiled wide as Y/n ate it with a hum of delight.
“So good. Oh! Are you ready?”
“Yeah?”
“for.the.best freaking movie of all time! I promise you i kept seeing trailers over and over again and it looks so good!” Y/n excitingly yelled as she got under the blanket, throwing some over bob as well who smiled.
“What if—“
just then her phone made a beeping sound.
Her tracker for high crimes.
He looked over at Y/n whose eyes glanced at him rather quickly before she nervously smiled, a laugh falling from her lips.
“Must’ve uh, forgot to…silence that.”
“Or you purposely left it on.” He flatly blinked as she scoffed once more, twice as dramatically.
“What! What? Tuh—no? Psh..what? That’s so stupid here watch i can turn my phone off right now—“
Just then her AI assistant that she created a while back spoke.
“High robbery alert, armed suspects filling the room with several victims.”
Y/n sighed, once again biting her lip as she looked at her phone closely.
Bob’s heart started racing.
“Y/n..” He muttered as she bit her lip.
“No..Y/n?”
“I have too! They’re counting on me!” She winced while getting up from the couch. Her open back shirt showing off the spine tattoo that she got a while back that Bob loved.
“No you don’t? that’s literally what the police are for.” He threw his head back into the couch as she kept walking into the hallway with a rush.
Bob hurried and rushed out of the living room and to their shared bedroom.
watching as she finally slipped on her mask, he rolled his eyes heavily with a sigh.
“You promised me! This is the umpteenth time you’ve ditched me for random people—“
“I’m not ditching you! I’m coming back and we’re going to watch that movie and we’ll have so much fun okay?”
“No no, this is ditching and you’re leaving me this was supposed to be our night one night where we can just be us. Why is that so hard with you?” He yelled, he didn’t want to yell, but his emotions had been too high and he knew if they got any higher he would let someone out that he never wanted out again.
taking a breath as Y/n stood across from him in her suit, she lifted her mask off of her lips and from over her nose and eyes to look at him with sad eyes.
“Bob—“ Her phone rang once again as Bob scoffed.
“I…I—We’ll talk—“
“I don’t want to talk. I wanted you here, I want you here right now with me. But you don’t care.”
“Bob—“
“Just go. Go.” He groaned as he walked out of the room and shut the door behind him.
It didn’t take long for him to hear the opening of the window , signaling that she actually did leave.
She left him after an argument and she knew how much he hated that. They didn’t argue much, if anything it was silly banter but this? It was different and she left.
﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌
The next few days were filled with silence and arguments that spiked out of control and nowhere. The team would see how awkward the two of them grew the longer it went on.
Y/n had been drinking some type of bitter coffee that bucky insisted the team needed in order to work in their perfect minds and without being filled with creamers and sugar.
Which was to Y/n's distaste since sugar and her were best of buds.
Bob had been around the team with her as well, but he wouldn't talk to her. Sitting farther away than usual as she turned around to talk to him.
Opening her mouth to speak, he hurried and got up from his spot, walking out of the room and down the hallway.
"Wow, it's like you have the pelage or something." Yelena scoffed as she sipped her coffee before wincing and making a face of disgust.
"Ugh, this coffee taste so so bad--"
"He's mad at me." Y/n sighed heavily as she turned back to the table and let her hands drag up into her hair, taking a tight fistful of hair.
"Why? What could you have done to make bobby mad at you?" She asked, looking over at Ava who had grew interested at the sudden new topic.
"We had a fight." Y/n groaned, earning a gasp from the two girls.
"Like, a real fight? Or just those grocery fights that you guys have every week?" Ava scoffed a little while looking at Y/n who only shook her head.
"No, like a big fight." She sighed before continuing.
"I promised that we would be able to watch this movie, and I got an alert of a robbery so..."
"So, you ditched Bob?" Yelena filled in the blank, making Y/n wince even more.
"Well, okay when you put it like that-"
"No, no, that is what you did. It is called ditching. Raincheck." She concluded to Y/n who'd looked at Ava.
Her face only winced at the new knowladge.
"Just say that you are sorry, I don't know what the big deal is?" Yelena cut through the silence that Y/n created at the center of the kitchen with her now cold coffee.
"I can't! I tried over and over; he literally told me once that he was sick. Only for me to catch him eating ice cream and drinking hot chocolate." She whined into her hand as she closed her eyes tightly.
"Or, you could just do the whole big apology." Yelena offered as she hummed, looking over at Ava who smiled wide, catching on rather quickly.
Y/n however didn't.
"What? What do you mean?" She rushed, looking at the two as they nodded silently to each other.
﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌
Bob had been in his room, well, a room that he took over for the time being since he had been giving Y/n the silent treatment for a while now.
Not without him feeling twice as bad. He hated seeing her falter in whatever she had been wanting to say to him right when he walked away.
He hated how much pain she held in her eyes when he would come up come elaborate bullshit story how he was needed somewhere only to end up back in the room that was cold.
The room, any room without her, without Y/n in it. Felt so cold and alone.
But she broke a promise, and he didn't like that. he didn't like that he was someone he could just talk to later and see later but for him, she was his everything.
The air that he breathed was the reason that he was able to tell right from left. She was his direction in life, and yet, it felt like she didn't feel nearly the same.
Sitting on the bed as he sighed heavily to himself, reading whatever health journey book that he was gifted by Valentina, who insisted everyone needed to take turns reading.
Flipping to the next page, the door suddenly busting open so fast with force.
"What! What is that!" He exclaimed, immediately covering his face with his arms and hands as he tried to hide from whatever possible impact could happen.
"We have no time! Come with us!" Ava yelled as Yelena hurried to his side, looking around the room as he stood up and looked down at his open feet.
"Where? What is happening?" Bob yelled, his voice cutting in and out before suddenly everything went black.
﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌
"Bob?" The voice echoed through his head.
Groaning as his head fell side to side, he let his eyes open ever so slowly to see the very close and very blurry image of Y/n with her mask and suit on.
"Y/n?" He spoke groggily. Squinting his eyes to look at her, she made a noise that he could tell was her laughing. Her head tilted to the side as she back up and helped him up.
His warm hand slipping into her own gloved hand.
"What, what is happening?" He breathed nervously. Looking where they were.
"Whoa! Careful, sunshine." She reached out as his foot nearly slipped off the edge of the building they were on.
"Y/n! What the, what is happening? Where are we? Is everything okay?" He'd rushed, his hands immediately grabbing her forearms as she laughed, cutting off his nervous rant.
"What is funny?"
"Bob, everything is fine. In fact." She cut off, reaching to take her mask off as she blinked.
"I have a surprise for you." She hummed, reaching out for his hand, which he took slowly but surely.
"This way, just this way." She quietly had him follow as Y/n led the way. The sudden view of stringed lights gained the attention of Bob immediately as he sighed a little.
"Whoa, what..." He spoke just enough as they finally came up to a big view of the city below.
The rooftop showed large beanbags, a table with takeout food, candy bowls, and drinks, as well as popcorn. The beanbags had fuzzy blankets on them, and there had been a projector on the table with a white sheet not too far.
"I... I messed up." Y/n sighed, starting the conversation as she looked into his eyes that looked right into hers in a hurry.
"And I'm sorry. It's just when my uncle died, he'd told me that with my power comes great responsibility. He'd told me that people need help, and I can be that person they depend on." Y/n started quietly as she sighed once more.
Bob looking into her eyes sadly as they welled with tears.
"And I take it too far, and I forget that it's not just me anymore. It never was just me. Like you said, there are cops for a reason. So, I really, really want to apologize, and I promise for the next week. I'm all yours." She finished, putting the mask in her back pocket making Bob look at her.
"Really?" He quietly asked, his eyes blinking the tears away as she lifted her hand to wipe the fallen tear.
"Yes, yes. I mean it." She nodded, smiling at him as he did the same.
The two of them claimed their spot on the bean bags, which Y/n pulled Bob's closer since she stated he was too far.
Laughing and watching the movie they swore to watch while he wore a batman shirt and Y/n wore her Superman one since she also had it there with them.
It looked kind of silly to Bob though since she had a long sleeved spiderman suit on right under.
He felt happy, and he really loved her. He loves her, so much.
saw spiderman brand new day just know im brain storming

asking clark to get married when you’re already married do you see the vision
When your legs are hurting and you’ve spent an entire day walking around with someone’s fingers woven between yours—someone who treasures every second of your company like he’s just lucky to be in it—you find you aren’t as eager to get home as you’d imagined. You’d limp the entire night through the dark with Clark if it meant you’d get to keep talking to him.
But then you remember who you married. Clark would stay up all night with you if you enticed him in conversation.
“Baby,” you say, giving Clark’s hand a swing to make him smile. “Would you marry me?”
“Again?” He wrinkles his nose, blue eyes a little dark from the squint and the thickness of his brows pinching together, but he’s still smiling, and he’s leaning down to kiss the tip of your nose. “Of course I would. Every day of my life, I’d marry you. That was a great day, huh?”
“Yeah.” You lay your face in his arm. “Can I put my wedding dress on when we get home?”
“If you promise not to take it off.”
“I think you’re supposed to take it off.”
Clark laughs and sweeps you up for hugging in the middle of the sidewalk, barely twenty steps from the apartment building, but he just can’t wait. He hugs you and laughs like he’s giddy by your ear. “No, please, it’s too pretty. You can put it on and we can defrost the cake, pretend it’s fresh. I have my suit pressed at the back of the wardrobe.” He frowns at your shock. “What? It’s what I was wearing when you married me. You’re lucky I didn’t put it behind plexiglass.”
(You’re not kidding around. You put on your wedding dress, and Clark kisses you in the kitchen like you’re standing at the alter.)
He caught you 👁️👁️

new home, new start ⋰˚☆ jack abbott x fem!reader
summary: finally after dating for some time now, jack builds up the confidence and courage to ask his longtime girlfriend to move in with him.
warnings: short fluff, mention of jack's ex wife.
Getting home after work wasn’t always what Jack loved when he had to come home to an empty place. Where he would come in and be met with no one.
The quiet, the feeling that nothing can take a toll on a person such as himself. He didn’t always like that feeling; hell, who would? He hated coming home to an emptiness where it was only him and him alone.
He didn’t mind much of it over time; he took in as much as he needed to. He worked, he made his money, and he came home right after his night shift. The day was still bright, but he had sleep to catch up on.
Sure, sometimes it was nice to come home to a nice quiet space after the loud night, but sometimes he wished he could talk to someone.
It was almost like anyone who was listening heard his answers. Not too soon after he met her, his now longtime fiancée, Y/n L/n, soon to be Y/n Abbot.
They met in a pretty funny way. She had come into the hospital with a pretty big gash along her eyebrow and some on her forehead.
Her first words to him ever were–” Guess trying to be a vigilante is only for the movies.” This makes his night just a little better.
He laughed, shaking his head and agreeing silently.
“Yeah, let's leave that to Batman and whatnot.” She laughed, taking in a bit of his joke as well.
“Here I thought you wouldn’t know who that was.”
“Oh, I’m younger than I look.” He muttered weakly, focused on his working hands. Her eyebrows lifted a bit, which wasn’t the best idea, but they settled down quickly.
“Oh really?” She hummed.
“Mhm.” She laughed as he did the same, looking into her deep e/c eyes and nodding his head a bit at her words.
Y/n had tried to keep it lighthearted, though she had blood dripping down her eyebrow and some across the side of her face.
She had been smiling and wincing now and then whenever he would get close and clean her gash before moving to stitch her up as nicely as he could with gentle hands yet firm.
Soon, she came back to get the stitches taken out and later came back when she broke her pinky finger.
She would come in now and then for either her or her friends. So with that, he finally took up the time to ask her out mid-stitch as she smiled wide, nodding her head and agreeing to go with him.
The date was simple: dinner and wine. Some time to talk about each other and whatnot, and the more he spoke to her, the more he knew he needed to know more of her. Most of her that he could.
He hadn’t allowed himself to get out there after his first wife; he never felt like he could. If anything, he didn’t try either.
But something about her, something very pulling about her, made him quick to feel the need to know her.
To feel and be around her as much as she would allow her to.
And thank God she did. Thank God she talked back to him.
Both of them are quick to talk to each other day in and day out.
Since he wasn’t much of a texter, he would call her late at night or early in the morning before and after work.
It started with the two of them just on the phone before they started FaceTime, which he liked since he got to see more of her. He got to see what she was doing and how her face looked when she spoke, which he liked the most.
He admired how her face would move and how her lips, which were ever so soft, would speak with each word.
It didn’t take long for him to propose; of course it didn’t.
So coming home to that empty home turned into something–
“Jack! Thank God…please can you hand me the pain please?” She pointed at the paint can that sat towards the open entrance of the door.
He looked down and smiled.
“This?” He pointed, making Y/n roll her eyes.
“Yes, that,” she muttered.
“What is this paint?”
“Jack!” Y/n smiled, rolling her eyes and waiting for it as he finally gave it to her.
She looked at Y/n once more before he stood next to her.
Y/n had been sitting next to a half-painted wall with shorts and a simple shirt on that was his.
He liked what she looked like in his clothes more than he should have.
“Have you been painting since you woke up?” Jack asked, looking at Y/n, who shrugged simply, nodding her head.
“Yeah, this new house and all. I just love it so much. Wanna make it pretty.” Y/n smiled at Jack, who smiled back.
His eyes looked at her face and slightly messy hands.
The two of them had bought a house shortly after the engagement. They both stayed up all night and finally found something worth a beauty so live in.
“I know you do. But you have to make sure you're sleeping well too.” He muttered, his hand softly moving across her jaw and the side of her face.
She looked at him.
“I can’t sleep well without you. Plus, I think there's a monster under the bed.” She laughed, making Jack laugh, shaking his head as she did the same.
“Well, let me go get it so we can take a nap.” He held out a hand for her as she took it.
Smiling wide as he helped her to her feet.
“You gonna get the monster?”
“Yeah, yeah, I’ll get it for you.” He laughed as she smiled wide.
The other was taking a shower together as she made him something to eat, some simple breakfast and juice for both of them.
After they ate and talked about his night, they both made their way upstairs. Into their shared room, he was quick to cuddle behind her, his lips kissing her shoulder, her warm neck over and over with closed eyes as she sighed.
His thumb was soothing her skin while he continued to kiss her skin, her warm and loving skin that he would look forward to every day and every night when they were apart.
He loved coming home. Coming home to her was something he loved the most. Something he loved more and more.

his duties ⋰˚☆ jacaerys velaryon x targaryen!reader
summary: as a year went by for the newly wedded couple, people are starting to worry is y/n and jacaerys is able to conceive a baby for their bloodline. worries climb and suspicions of cheating makes jacaerys become more and more focused on y/n.
warnings: jealousy, overthinking, y/n having a tough time getting pregnant, talk of pregnancy, usual targaryen incest, reader is alicent’s daughter, angst a little? fluff! mentions of smut but not written.
When Y/n married into the Targaryen house, of course, she wasn’t expecting entire grace and full patience within the family. Her mother had raised her with the mindset of accept, obey, and keep quiet.
She wasn’t allowed to share what she felt unless it was for the good of her family back at home. Don’t say what she really felt, only to her mother in quiet, without guards nearby, and not to say anything to her father, who had grown sicker and sicker as the days passed.
Of course, her father knew what her mother requested of her, and he hadn’t been having any of that. He would let her sit beside his bed as the smoke filled the room, the warm fire lighting the darkness that the room had been consumed in.
She would share her fears of marriage, and she would tell her father how nervous she was that Jacaerys, her betrothed at that time, wasn’t who he was.
But her father would calm her worries.
Telling her that he is who he says he is and that Jacaerys had a kind heart. Just like he had, so yes. She soon managed to let her worries subside and go through with the full marriage that had been arranged.
Her family had been there, with the shock of her father as well, standing with the troubles of his breath that threatened to cut off just by nearly standing for a few seconds.
Jacaerys had been in his house's colors, and her mother had tried to make sure she showed hers as well, even though Y/n had thought it would make more sense to wear white.
The ceremony had been outside for the main part of the wedding. Since it was part of their family for many years, they had to perform a certain part of the marriage before finally finalizing the deal.
This part took place outside; her father had been given a chair, her mother and her siblings, who had been there despite Aemond and Aegon’s protests. His family had been there as well, and everything had gone like it was supposed to.
She would catch a sneaking smile that Rhaenerya, her older sister, would give the two of them. Y/n is giving one back.
Y/n never had many words exchanged between her and Rhaenyra. But, she had known she would make a very fine queen one day, and she couldn’t wait to see that happen.
Jacaerys had been instructed to cut the bottom lip of Y/n’s mouth with the dragonglass that had been handed to him. The smell of iron, smoke, and the outside air mixes around itself.
Blood was being traced along the section of her forehead as she had done the same for him. Crimson red, dripping from their bottom lips, he then cut a fine line of his skin along the palm of his open hand.
Strong red, dripping onto his hand as he’d cut hers next. Wincing quietly at the pain before regaining her stature, she tried not to focus on the pain and more on the act itself.
Looking at Jacaerys now and then, who had his eyes already fixed on hers, she looked a second to share a passing smile. He is doing the same.
His dark brown curls, which her mother had grown to hate more and more. Her mother had been praying to the Gods that Y/n’s white hair would surpass his darker hair when it came time for her to bear a babe for the family.
Y/n had thought about this; she never would have minded if their kid ever did inherit his hair. He had fine hair, which was curly and had a shine to it when the sun angled just right.
She wouldn’t be angry or opposed if their children did have his face, either.
Y/n had been labeled the Kingdom's love. Her face was as soft as a coffin, her words as dull as a sheep's eyes. She didn’t have much to say unless she was spoken to, but whenever she did say something, it was of relevance.
Jacaerys had a beautiful face. He took after his mother, her father would say. The way his nose angled and his eyes, wide and brown with life. His words sharp and meaningful.
She knew he was of importance, and she admired him now and then when they were children, but that was rare. It would be quick and end just as fast.
Alicent would have her informed nearly all the time so that she could read, make sure her hair was nice, and have her dresses measured and made. She made sure she was perfect for her husband.
But Alicent hadn’t known that her husband would be Jacaerys.
Their hands now equally spread open, they were told to hold hands. Squeezing the blood that leaked into each other's bodies.
The words being spoken.
“Blood of two. Joined as one.” The speaker had started speaking in their ancient tongue of Valyrian, and the wind had been blowing just enough.
Y/n is being handed a heavy cup, drinking the mixture of their blood that had been dripped into the cup.
After taking her fair drink of his and her blood, she made a small face at the warm liquid that slid down her throat and into her body. Passing the cup to Jacaerys, who’d taken it in his hands next, he did the same.
That night of the wedding was a passing blur over the years as time went by.
Now, three years had gone by, and word had gotten around that Y/n and Jacaerys had been having a rather tough time wearing a babe.
“My lady, the Maesters are here.” One of her ladies had told her. Y/n turned around from the window where she had been standing, taking in the ocean view.
She sighed.
“I fail to understand why I need such meetings with them,” Y/n muttered, looking back at the window as the door opened to let them in.
“Ah, Lady Targaryen. Good Morrow.”
“Yes. Good Morrow.” She replied quietly, turning to the male who had been dressed heavily in a gown. A box of things was in his other hand, while she was instructed to lie down on the bed.
Pretty much a usual thing that they would do since they noticed she still had yet to hold a baby.
“Have you and Prince Jacaerys been trying to convince a babe?” The Maesters asked, looking at Y/n, who had been getting comfortable on the bed with the help of her handmaiden.
The pillows fluffed just right as her nightgown was pushed up past her knees.
“We have not the time, sir. With his duties passing and my own.” She replied, watching as the man sat down below her open legs.
The feeling of his cold tool touching her parts made her cringe and want to just close her legs for good.
“I see. You have your bleed as of now. A babe being conceived at this time would be difficult.” He muttered from below. Making Y/n roll her eyes a bit.
Well, yes, of course it would be. She’d been bleeding heavily for some time, now, but that was normal. It should be stopping sometime soon anyway.
“Yes, it would be.” She gave him her words as he stood up. Placing the slightly bloodied tool in the hot water bowl that the maids had brought.
“If you fail to become pregnant, your mother would have me here in an instant. I, however, see nothing wrong.” He expressed to her. Y/n gives a small nod of understanding.
Once she was given the room to herself and the women maids, a warm bath had been run for her so that she could get ready for the day.
It’s not that she couldn’t hold a child; it's that Jacaery,s truthfully, hadn’t been as dedicated to that as of now as much as the others were.
They tried within the first year of being married, but once it didn’t happen the first time, he just didn’t give it another try.
Especially since they were needed somewhere else.
Y/n is having her wife's duties, and since she had a life of her own, she didn’t mind not having a baby right now. They were still young, and a baby wasn’t needed. His mother, Rheanerya, hadn’t been pushing for a babe as much as Alicent was.
✧˖*°࿐
Jacaerys had been busy as of late, to say the least. He knew of the speaking that townspeople and the workers within the castle had been saying about him and Y/n.
Saying that the two of them had been failing to both show and announce to the kingdom that they had been successful in having a child. Usually, at this point in time, most married couples would have one already.
Esusual within the Targaryen household, it was nearly customary that they had at least two or three babes by now. But of course, he had no time for that.
He and Y/n had both shared the mind that they didn’t need a child right now; if anything, having a babe at such a time would most likely not be the best. They wouldn’t be able to rest, focus, or share time.
Walking down the hallway as he spoke to the people, he caught a nearby glimpse of his wife, Y/n, who smiled at a hidden face.
His eyebrows frowned at this; he felt a pinch in his heart grow heavy as his eyebrows pulled so close together he was sure they would get stuck there.
“Shall we have them move to the north?” The man he’d been talking to asked while he still stood close to Jacaerys.
“Yes…just–we can move the guards up north of the castle for the morrow.” He muttered, looking out of the window as she laughed at whoever she spoke to.
“How many of them, Prince?” A guard asked, looking at Jacaerys, who had been too focused on his wife, who had been sharing that smile that he had grown to love more and more with each passing morning and morrow.
Though they didn’t know each other as well as he had hoped before they were married, they managed to grow that bond over time.
She had laughed so hard her eyes closed, a flower in her hand being twirled around in the air that surrounded it.
She always did love the gardens; she loved the smell of certain flowers since she stated that some of them didn’t have that much of a pleasure to be around.
He made sure to know which flowers she liked and didn’t like so that whenever he did want to gift her something, he knew which ones she would actually treasure more over the others.
“Prince Jacaerys?” The guard muttered, making him blink hard.
“Who is that man that my wife, Princess Y/n, is speaking to?” he’d asked, not sparing them a look as he held his hands firm against the sides of his body.
The guard took a peek.
“That would be her newest book reader, Prince–”
“Book reader? Has he no name?” Jacaeryes looked to the side where the lead guardsmen had been standing.
He blinked, looking off before speaking.
“Uh, I haven’t known it, Prince…”
“Has anyone met this book reader?” He kept his jaw tight, clenched as he spoke.
“Princess Y/n herself and or your mother, Prince,” the guard explained to Jaccaerys, who firmly nodded.
“I see. How is he meant to entertain my wife by reading with no book in hand?” He muttered, watching Y/n even further, who smiled, nodding her head as they shared more words.
Gods, he needed to know what was being said. What was so jested that it made her laugh as much as she had been?
What was being shared that he couldn’t hear?
“I want you to keep a close eye on this, unknown book reader.” He demanded, making the guard look side to side.
“She has already a guard–”
“And she shall have more.” He cut him off, making the guard immediately stop speaking.
Looking back at his wife as he resisted the urge to go down to her this instant, he would just have to settle for seeing her later after her dragon back riding.
Y/n had a made day where she was both busy and had time to speak for a few words of exchange in between.
✧˖*°࿐
Like he had originally wanted to do, he was one of the first to be standing at the landing spot for Y/n to greet him. Her dragon's white scales shone with the aid of the slight, gloomy sun.
Watching as his wife’s white hair flowed with the air around her, she smiled a bit. Patting her dragon's back and giving her words in High Valyrian.
“Kirimvose.” She spoke, and he had heard her. Jacaerys resisted the urge to smile, her words soft and kind just as much as her eyes were.
Stepping down with a smooth overthrow of her leg that had been on the other side of her dragon.
Jacaerys, being sure to be the one to help her get down, had his hand outstretched for her own, which she held onto. Their hands were the same ones that they had gotten married with.
“Ah, my dearest husband.” She joked, making him roll his eyes.
“Jacaerys is just fine, princess.” He’d smiled as she gave him a look.
“You complain of me speaking your title, and you call me princess.” Y/n laughed, shaking her head as she took off the gloves that hid her hands before handing them to the person who usually took her gear.
“A good ride today?” He asked, looking at her as she fixed her wild hair.
“Yes, it was. The sky was clear. You should go sometime with Vermax.” She suggested, pointing at him as the two of them made their way into the stone castle.
“I am far too busy for that.” He replied to Y/n, who shrugged.
“As am I. But I still make time for her. It is what is best for them. They do not need to stay hidden down below in that dragon pit. It’s far too wet down there.” She complained to Jacaerys, who had heard it all before.
Y/n cared for her dragon more than most. She had wanted to have her dragon grow out in the open, but they had said it wouldn’t be best, so she made it a thing for her to take the time and give her dragon that freedom.
“I have already spoken to the dragon keepers. What more are you requesting of me?” He’d asked her, making Y/n turn to him.
She’d looked at his face, his eyes, his brown eyes connecting with her violet ones, and his hair before she shook her head.
“Nothing, Jacaerys. I just wish that my prince of a husband had been able to do something with that. But I see that I must do it on my own.” She replied, finally turning her body to walk away with the two guards.
Jacaerys sighed, knowing it was probably best not to bother her any further since she would only win any and every argument they had.
The figure of her dark clothes and white hair retreating down the long hallway was the only thing he had looked at before he had to make a turn of his own.
✧˖*°࿐
A few moons had passed, and Y/n had been finding herself with this mystery book reader that Jacaerys finally learned the name of within the same week.
Jacaerys would catch the passing glimpse of the two of them whenever he was out at that moment or so happened to be around. He didn’t like the idea of some man getting to think he had the right to do so.
Thinking he had the right to be around a princess with his stature. Thinking he could openly laugh and smile at Jacaerys’ wife, who wouldn’t say anything and/or try to correct his wrongdoings since Y/n didn’t see anything wrong with being comfortable with a commoner as such.
But Jacaerys did, of course he did. He saw Y/n giving away the attention that he wanted to have for only himself. The attention that he deserved. Her husband.
Y/n had the soul, the face, the voice, and the actions of an angel.
But her family, her name, and her title said otherwise. She had a name of royalty and beauty, strong and unweirlidng. Her silver hair was long and beautiful as it climbed down her back and was claimed by the wind around her.
She walked through whatever space she was in and went through it as she deserved it. Y/n had that right.
So did Jacaerys, so did his family and the Targaryen name.
But this, man, this book reader that would sit around with his wife, Jacaerys’ wife, all day and talk to her with no face, no clear direction of respect as Jacaerys could see.
So of course, Jacaerys was upset; he was a little angry, and it wasn’t good that she was meant to be away for some time to go back with her mother in King's Landing for some time.
Both in their shared chambers as Y/n packed her boxes. The dresses and nearby items that she would need while she was gone.
“Do you have a mind on how long you must stay?” He’d asked. The sound of crackling fire filled the space behind them.
Y/n hummed, looking around the room for something else before she hummed silently. Her silver hair flowed with every movement she made.
“I haven’t the idea, Jace. Why must you ask this many times?” She replied, looking at Jacaerys, who shrugged. Sitting on the edge of the bed while he watched her walk around.
“Is it so bad for me to ask how long my wife will be absent? Is it?” He smiled at her just enough as she rolled her eyes.
“Yes, given that you have not asked this many times before.” She laughed softly, looking side to side while she tried to find something that she couldn’t seem to find.
He sighed just a little. The feeling of his hair touching his forehead is known for its slight wetness from the bath he’d taken not too long ago after Y/n’s.
To put it simply, usually he wouldn’t ask as much, knowing that he didn’t have to worry about her since he knew that she could hold on her own.
However, he found himself wanting to be around her more as time went by.
“I’m allowed to miss my wife when she is away.” He casually added. Making her smile once more.
“I have not said you can’t.”
“You talk as if I can’t.”
“I merely pointed it out.”
Both of them spoke right after each other, like usual. He loved moments like this. The quiet of the night as if was consumed with just the two of them.
The warm fire lighting the dark room around them as the wind of the night blew into the room from the open stone windows. The night is making itself known with the bright moon above.
“How long must you take leave?” He asked once more. Watching as Y/n walked over to the white-sheeted bed.
Taking her usual spot closest to the window.
“Not long, Jace. Go to sleep.” She muttered, covering herself with the blanket as he slowly did the same.
Lying beside her like usual, he took the time to look at her for just a little longer. Watching the way her body fully relaxed into the bed. Her long silver hair falls just enough over her shoulder.
Her eyebrows were relaxed as well, with the slight movement of her eyes under her closed lids.
He often admired her in this state as well. Fully relaxed, beautiful as if she were still awake and looking at him with her eyes.
He would imagine what their children would look like as well. If they had her eyes, her hair, or her nose.
Or if they would have his face, down to the curl of his hair.
He hoped that they would inherit a bit of her face. It would make it easier for them to live if they did.

The leave of Y/n wasn’t as bad, but he did start to hear things.
Things such as Alicent thinking of breaking off the marriage with Jacaerys as if that were possible.
She had wanted Y/n to marry Aemond to ensure that her kids would have the pure Targaryen name, silver hair, lilac eyes, and everything that she wanted to happen.
He wasn’t happy; why would he be happy when his wife was being forced to go through that while he had to stay home and wait for her return?
And when she did, he couldn’t take it any longer.
“Y/n?” He’d muttered, looking at his wife who stood beside a larger tree, shading her from the warm sun above them.
Their current spot is in the garden that she so treasured.
“Yes, Jace.” She replied, looking at him with a small smile.
He took a breath.
“I think we should start a family now.”
Y/n’s movements stalled, looking at him with her eyebrows pinched close together.
“We are a family, Jace.”
“With a babe. You and I.” He replied quickly. Making her teasing smile falter.
Oh Gods, was he mistaken?
“Me being pregnant wouldn’t be best as of now, Jace–”
“But we can make it work. I will do what I have to do. I will do my duties and be by your side. You can still visit the dragons, you can ride until you are swelling at the stomach. I will do what I need, what you ask of me.” He muttered in a rush, leaning in as she sighed.
Taking her hand in his, she didn’t pull back or object, so he held it tight.
“I will do what you ask of me.” He repeated, with more of a promise of desperation as she smiled softly.
Nodding her head.
That night, as they had planned, went just as he thought it would.
Of course they’d done it before, trying with the hopes of pregnancy, but he didn’t go fully into it as much as he did that night. Their bodies were sweaty, and her silver hair fanned over his face now and then.
Kissing her lips ever so gently while she smiled.
They were promised a pregnancy as he had hoped.
