I can notput enough emphasis on the fact that trying to guilt trip someone back into a relationship with you makes them feel TERRIBLE. No one deserves that physically sick feeling, or that lump in their throat. Especially when you, as the guilt tripping party, sit there & tell them how much they aren’t feeling terrible. You have NO IDEA how flippin’ bad I feel for breaking up with you, so DO NOT sit there & tell me I’m fine & that I’m not going to ache for you. Being in love with someone, but not needing them is a totally valid reason to break up. You can love someone, but not be meant for them. Plus, some relationships just DON’T freakin’ work. Trying to lure me back in with an empty promise of a $10,000 engagement ring WILL NOTchange my decision. Saying that you were always there for me, that is a lie. Trying to put it all on me after I refuse to be guilt tripped isn’t cool, either. I’m trying to end it on a peaceful, kind note. I don’t want to feel sick & weepy. I want to feel like I did the right thing.
