wisteria's name was a result of several factors. her parents had both left their respective tribes/clans to pursue other ventures, and had taken on new names to signify their separation from their past. they were now aster and dianthus. (it's also important to note that they were a seeker-keeper couple as well.)

after having bonded and made home within the walls of gridania, it wasn't long before they already had their first child on the way. when the topic of a name was brought up, neither had wanted to attach their respective cultural naming norms. while they had deliberated on what they would do for many a time, they had ultimately decided to use wholy non-traditional naming conventions.

and thus, nepeta, lupin, and wisteria were named.

wisteria has two items that she is never seen without if she can help it:

her glasses

her tail ribbon

the glasses were the first pair she got upon starting her studies in old sharlayan, and her tail ribbon was a gift from her older sister.
