My local community art centre Lake House Arts is running their annual member's exhibition; the Great Art Sale. If you're in the area, be sure to drop in and see if you can spot my Gerbil's Bouquet print on the packed exhibition walls. It's only little (8x10in), so when you spot it be sure to send me a picture! 😉

The Great Art Sale is a cash & carry exhibition, which means when you see an artwork you like you can purchase it and take it home with you right away. This makes it a great opportunity to find some unique gifts for the coming holiday season 🙂

The exhibition is open from Sunday 24 November 2019 to Friday 31 January 2020, and there is a fabulous cafe onsite, so be sure to pop by this summer to check out a range of great local artists.

From A to Zebra Finiches; this illustration completes my inktober collection of exotic pets!

I wasn't sure when I started this month whether I would make it to the end of 31 line art illustrations, having not made it much past day 8 in previous year's attempts.

I'm feeling proud to have achieved this goal I set myself, and to have improved my drawing skills and confidence significantly in the process 😊

Koi fish who swim upstream against the current to the mouth of the Huang He (Yellow River) are said to transform into dragons after overcoming the difficulties of their journey.

Its worth doing difficult things.
