akane from zero escape is such a great character because when you first meet her she falls on top of you and junpei goes "oh it's akane we were so close in elementary school" and you think to yourself "oh alright i get it, shes gonna be like the generic boring childhood friend love interest character with no personality" but then literally the first room you go into with her she infodumps to you about how the titanic sunk because it was cursed by an ancient egyptian mummy that was brought on board whose body was perfectly preserved because she was frozen and didn't thaw out even at room temperature and you find out that she's just like this all time time. she talks about new conspiracy theories literally every chance she gets including when you are locked in a freezer trying to escape before you die of hypothermia
