I think about this detail a lot in the story because I don’t believe I ever mentioned how “comedic” the deaths really are? I do not mean the situation itself is funny.. what I mean is that these guys die in a very "cartoony way" making it a lot less horrifying than it would otherwise
You have a gun for example that's made of cheap plastic and is bright in colors almost like a prop you'd use in a low budget children's show for the rodeo scene. Slapstick tools, Slip hazards, Just a bunch of goofy imagery when the reality is grim for the puppets watching the screen. What they see ISN'T what the viewers themselves see
IT REMINDS ME OF CARTOON PSAS.. They directly show something that could make you chuckle but it's just a softer, more digestible way to showcase the real life nature of something devastating
