Hi guys, this is kinda like a random rant, but I seriously needed to get it off my chest.If you aren’t familiar with 2P Hetalia it’s a fanmade alternate universe where the characters are essentially opposites of their canon selves. Now, I have no problem with that concept in itself in fact, I think it is a really cool fascinating concept. The potential for deep character exploration is huge. The real problem is that most of the fandom doesn’t know how to treat the 2P Hetalians. Instead of writing them with real depth the community ruins them with basic ass clichés •́︿•̀. They either make them edgy and violent for shock value, or they baby them into soft innocent little victims. It replaces genuine personality with lazy tropes. I’m just being picky this isn’t really THAT much of an issue I just need to talk about stuff. This kinda sounds hypocritical because I like the way people write Oliver Kirkland and he looks cool😭 I know not all of the fandom does this so don’t beat me guys T_T
