Good Morning, Today’s post is one of my fav photographs. This is my good friend @rsmukkar she has been a wonderful supporter of @rebelhowlstudios over the years. She has also, gracefully, posed for many of my creative visions for #rebelhowlstudios over the years. And on this day she agreed to pose in a snow storm for a photo series I did. Friend support doesn’t get much better than that. Yes, Raman is a beautiful woman. Which as a photographer I love, ha ha ha. But there is something very special about Raman when I photograph her. She emotes so effortlessly. Her expressions somehow always match the vibe I am trying to create. I think there is something so wonderfully cinematic about this portrait. Something that Raman’s energy convey’s. There is a quiet fighter inside of her. As a #portraitphotographer I am always watching people. Enjoying their quirks and expressions. There is such an authentic beauty in people. Especially when their feelings appear on their face. And when one of my subjects has impeccable style also their magic becomes other worldly. That’s Meika. She is other worldly. We met through mutual friends and as soon as I saw her I knew I wanted to photograph her. These photos are from a few years ago, and although the clothes are not in vogue her style is timeless. It was fucking freezing the day we shot these. And Meika was a trooper.
