I’m so sorry for being inactive for so long.

I’m really struggling with my mental health and just when I feel I couldn’t get worse…I start feeling much worse.

I can’t keep up with this blog nearly as much as I used too. And I’ve been struggling so much for so many years. But things are getting more difficult and I didn’t think that was even possible.

I’m not deleting my blog. I’m not saying I’ll never be active. As I write this, I keep telling myself I should just make at least one post tomorrow. I can’t promise that though.

I still love Marilyn SO much!

But I’m very stuck. More than I’ve ever been before.

This is my latest Franklin Mint doll! The ballerina in the front - based on a very well known photo of Marilyn taken by Milton Greene in 1954.

These aren’t all of my Franklin Mint dolls. I have 6 others. But I thought this one would look best here. These dolls are probably my most favorite “Marilyn items” that I own. They aren’t cheap unless you get very, VERY lucky. Tbh this one had a price you don’t see too often (although I still shouldn’t have bought it but I just couldn’t pass it up!)

There’s different styles of the dolls. My favorite is the style of dolls behind the new doll. But I still hope to have all of them one day. And idk if you guys know who Jean Norman is…but he makes the most stunning, customized Marilyn dolls. So much detail. He is extremely talented. I hope to own at least one in my lifetime.

I did get a Marilyn gift! There’s an artist I absolutely adore; his name is Alejandro Mogollo Diez. He makes great art of not only Marilyn but many classic Hollywood stars and even some stars from today. You can get his designs on multiple things but I particularly love the designs on the acrylic blocks. I have maybe…25? And I got one for Christmas from my sister! I hope to have all of them one day. I love them so much!

Christmas isn’t over for me yet though. A lot of us aren’t able to get together for a few days from now. So maybe there will be something else. Everyone in my family knows I’m a BIG Marilyn Monroe fan, haha.
