Like the Inferni called her a Barrel rat and one of the Grisha on the ship (Feliks maybe?) called her the Wraith and then she knew Zoya by name so is it just implying that these people had been in ketterdam before and knew of her? Because I’m assuming she wasn’t INTERNATIONALLY famous by this point

Okay, so Aleks and Crew knew they came from Ketterdam, and presumably got their names from someone, considering Aleks called Kaz "Mr. Brekker," so at least the people with him for that would've known they were from the Barrel. Inej knew Zoya's name because both the Inferni and Aleksander yelled at her by name while Inej was standing right there. As for the Wraith thing, it's a little unclear if he Knew Who She Was due to research or something or if he was just calling her that because of How She Is

can't believe i need to clear this up but the darkling asking mal what alina's favourite flowers are and then giving them to her was not cute. it was not meant to be cute. it was a very deliberate display of how he was manipulating both alina and mal for his own benefit. if he truly cared about alina, he would've told her mal was there, or he would've asked her himself. he wouldn't be pursuing her in the first place. it's not romance, it's grooming.
