Winter 2015 Playlist

For my latest tote bag design at Strand Book Store we wanted to create an immersive world inspired by a creepy, turn-of-the-century New York. One of the perks of illustrating for products is the incentive you have to make each design as special as possible; we took extra care to add in a lot of little details, inside jokes, literary allusions, etc. And of course, almost every figure is carrying around or reading a book. Special thanks to Lisa Jee for her excellent art direction during the fun but long process of research, production and sampling.
