Wi-Fi Certificate Swap - July 20, 2026 at 8:00 a.m.

Information Technology will be swapping out our Clearpass Wi-Fi certificate on Monday July 20, 2026 at approximately 8:00 a.m.

Customers using Wi-Fi may be prompted to accept or trust a new certificate the next time they log into the CSUMB Wi-Fi.

If you experience any issues connecting to Wi-Fi please contact the Technology Help Desk at 831-582-4357 or submit a case.

Resolved: Zoom Issues - June 29, 2026

As part of the rollout of new Zoom features, we encountered an unexpected licensing issue that has temporarily affected some users. As a result, approximately 120-users have experienced one or more of the following:

Inability to access your Zoom account

Inability to access scheduled Zoom appointments

Inability to access Zoom Phone features

You may also have received Zoom-generated emails with the subject lines "Your Zoom Phone has been activated" or "Your Zoom sign-in email address was changed." Receiving one of these messages indicates that your Zoom account was affected by this issue.

Our IT team is actively working to restore affected accounts, and we expect to have this work completed by 5:00 PM today (June 30).

Once this work is complete, if you are still experiencing issues accessing Zoom, the first troubleshooting step is to sign out of Zoom on all of your devices (including your computer and phone, if applicable) and then sign back in using your CSUMB account. This resolves the issue for many users.

We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience as we complete this work. We will continue restoring affected accounts as quickly as possible and will provide updates if additional action is needed.
