i just got bitterfeld!! im so excited to read it lol i used to read all ur icemav fics on ff net...

i did indeed mainline it in four sittings! absolutely loved it. it just flew by in the best way possible. love carver so dearly, what a complete hot mess 😍 he's like one of those frantic chihuahuas who's never been allowed to walk on the ground by himself and shakes and bites everyone constantly. also obsessed with lillian to my core, she's gotta be one of the best and most interesting female characters i've read in a long time! really beautiful work, i'm so delighted by the whole thing and really grateful for the opportunity to read so much of your fantastic gorgeous writing!

my print copy of bitterfeld arrived in the mail today and i picked it up on my way to work, where i promptly locked myself in a back room and inhaled the first chapter in one go. absolutely besotted with it already, that line about carver's virginity literally made me slam the book shut and clap a hand over my eyes like the poetic cinema meme dot jpeg guy 😩👌. cannot wait to mainline the whole thing in 3-4 business sittings, im salivating ferociously. (the print version is soooo beautiful btw, she thicc 😳)

can i ask what the cover art is from (and why you chose it)? cuz there's no credit on the book I'm assuming its an old (ergo public domain) drawing but its so beautiful!
