It was about time I finally made this post!

Well, hello there and welcome to my art blog!

I'm 19 and the name I go by is Clorox.

If you scroll down a bit through my blog you'll notice my main interest is Gravity Falls (most specifically The Goddam Triangle), but I also enjoy The Owl House and Amphibia, amongst many other shows!

Also, It's also highly likely (and referring to previous posts) that he feels aversion or disgust towards the topic, mainly due to his own personal experience.

If the world of Euclydia bears even the slightest resemblance to Flatland's, then whatever has been sold to society as "free will" would be a complete scam.

Flatland, in itself, is a critique of Victorian England, focusing on the rigidity of the class system that characterized the era.

Society is governed by some kind of hierarchy in which rising up the social ladder is practically impossible, unless you already belong to the highest elites.

The rigidity that exists between social classes makes mobility between them literally impossible.

Within this context, the nature of this hierarchy consumes the lives of the inhabitants to the point where it becomes the center of all their motivations, incapacitating them from having other ambitions. They live by and for this. They oppress the lower classes, and claim violence against the weak is justified. They live by and for this. This is a self-absorbed, narcissistic, and rotten society that cannot see beyond their own selves.

Knowing this, anyone who says that "free will" exists in a society like this is either an ignorant or is just lying.

The number of sides you have decides your place in society, your profession, and every other aspect of your life.

Don’t agree with that? Get ready to be isolated from society, stigmatized, and in the worst case, sentenced to death.

Of course, seeing it this way, Bill was exposed to a society where free will could be considered an optical illusion, so it’s understandable that he firmly believes it doesn’t exist and even mocks it. Bill can’t help but project his problems onto others.

That thing is a show???? What kind of name is that?

Gravity Falls? Well I sure hope it does!

I've taken a look at the main cast and synopsis and I can already tell this is some kind of episodic shallow series for kids aged no more than 7...

Also, people say it's SATANIC?????? What's up with that??????

Next time, recommend me a REAL show, for GROWNUPS, and not for babies, like for example FAMILY GUY. That show is PEAK, unlike "GravITy fALlS"

Still got no news from Amazon, but my personal theory is that it'll arrive around mid September...

is Bill straight up mocking the concept of free will AGAIN.

(this dude has some deep issues with this subject smh)

Allow me to explain myself:

In the original painting (Creation of Adam):

it's God's index finger (right hand) that's fully extended, while Adam (left hand), even though he has his arm fully outstretched, keeps the last phalanx of his index finger slightly bent; symbolizing that God is always there, but the decision to connect to him is up to humanity. If they want to, they can extend their finger and connect with God; if not, they can spend their entire life without seeking him, thus explaining the concept of free will.

Knowing this, if we now analyze Bill's shot, it seems as if the roles have been reversed: It looks like it's Bill's index finger that's slightly extended, while God's is uncomfortably contracted, almost purposely avoiding that contact from happening...

And if we dig a little deeper here, we can find lots of symbolisms, like Bill's desperate thirst for power and control, the lengths he's willing to go to cross beyond the natural order of things, his desire to be the one who plays God, and to have absolute sovereignty over the fate of his disciples, even though that role definitely has never belonged to him. He wants to 'reach' out to God, to become God himself, but it comes as unnatural, the 'Universe' itself retracts to avoid that from ever happening...

However, it can also be interpreted as just a simple mockery towards free will itself: the roles are reversed, no matter how much you extend your finger, you'll never make 'contact' with God because he is making the voluntary effort to avoid any contact with you.

Long story short: there's no such thing as 'free will' because you never actually had the option to 'choose' to connect with 'God' since there NEVER was a hand reaching out to you IN THE FIRST PLACE.

It was a fun short!

Hi!! The comic is coming along! (Slowly, tho)

These last couple of weeks have been somewhat hectic (with all this thisisnotawebsitedotcom.com stuff coming out and also personal things going on).

And if I'm being honest, I won't be home until like the end of August??

I've brought my laptop with me, but it's nothing compared to the computer I have at home, so you could say the comic is taking a bit of a break right now (although I'm still working on it!).

As for what the comic is about... it won't be anything angsty, just Bill finding a way to not participate in group therapy!

I honestly believe that, at this point, he's beyond saving, and redeeming him would completely shatter his character as a whole ://

They tried so hard to make him FIT IN and be "NORMAL" like everyone else that he grew up hating and feeling a deep aversion to the very concept of normality.

Imagine your parents subjecting you to constant medical procedures in an effort to make you "normal", only to be reminded every day at school that you're seen as a freak, a "monster".
