My biggest fear is that one day, long after we’ve gone our separate ways, we’ll come across each other in a coffee shop or a train station and we’ll be strangers. We’ll each have full lives, with jobs and kids, and we’ll exchange pleasantries and say, “Well I haven’t seen you since-” and continue throughout our individual days in our distant lives. Laying in bed that night, we’ll remember how we always wanted to pick up where we left off, to love again, but by now it’s far too late.
