just a little note to say where I’ve been - I took a small break from my game and when I went to play again, the computer was 10x slower than when I last used it. Turned out the hard drive was dying. It’s now been replaced and is working well! My game should run better and load up faster now which is awesome. I’ll have to test it out soon :)

I use a lazy version of this technique from Pooklet. I just pull the cas sliders to random extremes then soften them by right clicking a few face templates then adjust from there. I highly recommend this technique, you get some really unique and cute faces out of it!

some more berry makeovers I hadn’t posted - Atlan and Alder Bayberry + some other uni boys who might have appeared in my Rise posts.
I’ve completely forgotten the yellow ones name oops but the other are Jasper Heartleaf (who I gave much bigger pointy ears later!), Cress Aniseed and Thistle Nightshade.
I think Cress is one of my favourite makeovers ever, he’s so cute now!
The yellow one doesn’t look too different, I think that’s because some of his cc was deleted and I’d given him a partial makeover already

just some thoughts on my old sims :)
I've been adding made-over versions of old sims to my new hood and it's so nostalgic! I've also gone back into the old hood to take reference pics of their houses (the ones that actually had houses and weren't just stuck in a lot and abandoned haha) and before pics of their faces.
It's so strange to look at them now. They were from when I first started making berry sims around 6years ago and had hardly any custom content. Plus my sim making and house building style has changed so much.
I had some elaborate/a bit dramatic storylines in my head for some of them, which I'm thinking of playing out and documenting to post here! I'd love to have that to look back on.

I’m building a mansion today, as if I don’t have enough unfinished builds already! I decided this family needed a fancier place. The old one is across the street and I’m pretty sure it’s just a redecorated maxis build. I don’t usually work on houses this big because it takes so long, but I think this will be fun. The outside shape was inspired by a lilsimsie build I watched on youtube.
