MOVED !!!

          a  momentary  glance  over  his  shoulder ,  before  a  few  careful  steps  are  taken  towards  her  –  he’s  capable  of  being  awake  when  the  sun’s  still  up ,  but  that  doesn’t  mean  that  he’s  anything  short  of  exhausted  and  uncoordinated .          “  couldn’t  charge  it ,  ”          he  murmurs  apologetically ,  rubbing  at  one  of  his  eyes  with  his  sleeve .          “  they’re  gonna  –  they’re  gonna  be  up  soon ,  crys ,  you  got  to  be  careful .  ”

*     it’s  not  a  coincidence  that  her  truck        happened  to  stall  in  this  particular  town ,    or  that     conveniently     her  brother  couldn’t  make  it  with  the  part  for  about  two  weeks .    when  keith  sent  her  the  articles  on  the  killings ,   she  was  almost  baffled  that  nobody  has  seemed  to  catch  on  already .   vampires ,    nasty  ones  at  that ,       weren’t  something  to  play  around  with .     bar  door  is  pushed  open ,   head  peeking  through  before  she  steps  in  fully .    it  was    lively ,    all  ages  gathered  across  the  grill’s  floor  for  what  seemed  to  be  a  town  event .     that  would  explain  the  poster  maintenence  had  slid  under  her  hotel  room  door .    despite  being  undercover ,   she  sticks  out  like  a  sore  thumb .    after  all ,   this  might  be  the  first  time  she’s  stepped  into  a  place  like  this  alone .    eyes  search  the  building ,   and  as  soon  as  they  land  on  an  empty  seat  at  the  bar  she  makes  a  beeline ,   purse  resting  on  the  bar  as  she  settles  down  and  finally  exhales  through  vervain  scented  perfume .

*      the  cabin  is  pristine  as  usual ,      scent  of  cinnamon  sugar  wafting  through  the  cozy  air .    this  morning  she  and  jacob  made     snickerdoodles ,    and  the  fireplace  was  lit ,   bringing  an    air  of  comfort    along  with  it  that  caused  house  to  feel  like  home .     “    so   --   ‘bout  that  spellbook  y’were  askin’  for .   i  ain’t  got  it  on  me ,   but  i  spoke  t’my  brother  an’  he  said  he  can  get  his  hands  on  a  copy  of  it  f’er  ya .    ”    mug  of  warm  tea  is  set  down  before  the  blonde ,    and  she  flashes  an  apologetic  smile .
