Spent many years living by himself in the wild, so he's very good at foraging and finding non-poisonous foods
Speaks English, Brazilian Portuguese, and Japanese
Was the first of the trio to get married
He and Sengoku were in the same cadet squad, which was how they met
Saw himself in Kuzan when he was young (just a little)
After a mission that resulted in the death of almost their entire squad, the two got moved to another, which is how they met Tsuru
Didn't speak to Sengoku for a week after Ace's death
Once grabbed a bull by the horns (quite literally) and threw it at a fellow cadet he didn't like (how he wasn't discharged for that Sengoku and Tsuru will never know)
Ran away from home as a teenager
Was study buddies with Sengoku and Tsuru in their cadet days
She got divorced after she was promoted to Vice Admiral because her husband found her to be absent due to work as well as heartless because he lost faith in the Marines (only told Sengoku the full story)
Became a Marine to escape her family's rigid expectations of her to marry and become a housewife
While she doesn't show it, she sometimes gets very worried about Kujaku, as well as Garp and Sengoku
Little stayed in contact with her sisters since leaving home and all communications were essentially cut off after she joined the Marines
Still receives letters from time to time from her eldest son, all of which she keeps in a drawer, locked away from prying eyes
Started greying and aging early due to stress

Faced a lot pressure and accusations of nepotism due to her grandmother being Vice Admiral, which caused her some distress, but refused to give in
Took Hibari under her wing to make sure she wasn't harassed by other cadets
Found her Devil Fruit on a mission, and ate it with Tsuru's permission

Autistic, but didn't realise due to suppressing most of his traits as a child, and while living with Sengoku, he started expressing them more as his guard lowered (still didn't realise until his diagnosis because his adoptive dad is also autistic)
His first present from Sengoku was several volumes of 'Sora, Warrior of the Sea'
Doesn't voice his connection to Sengoku to others for fear of being accused of nepotism
Always wants to make his adoptive dad proud
Initially had some difficulty controlling his Devil Fruit, and would transform when angry or distressed
