One of my local stores might have the playline Odile I'm going to explode
I recently got a really cute doll and I love her very much, and want to give her a friend, but for some reason, there's absolutely NO similarities in the outfit designs across the entire line.
So if I get them and put them all next to each other they look like they're all dressed for WILDY DIFFERENT OCCASIONS and also maybe some of them are victims of time travel
And they're all a non-standard size so finding alternative outfits is nigh on impossible
Why do I do this to myself
For YEARS now I've been wanting to make lil dolls based on Chara and Frisk, but I've somehow only now realized that I could make them plush dolls. I'm a fool. I'm pricing out fabric as we speak
Crochet is so much fun bc you can just bullshit your way through it the whole time. Plastic canvas is so much fun bc it's pixel art but you can make it 3d and hold it. You can combine these powers to make some beautiful fuckin bullshit

Investigating Miniatures
I've been saving a lot of miniature images as reference lately, and thinking about miniatures. I quite like miniatures, and their popularity is on the rise... but I can't help feeling annoyed every time I see a lot of them, because so many "mini brands" toys are literally just cardboard boxes. You could print them yourself! In fact, websites exist that have old printables.
The first one I found has a section linking to other websites. I went to its home page and its entirely AI images, so I won't endorse the main site in general. It links to a lot of older pages though- it looks like maybe this site was taken over by someone recently, but still has old webpages linked (I'm talking 1999 old). Heres some horrible AI trash:
One of the links is to Small Stuff's Print Mini, which has a great gallery of free printables. Most of these are in the vein of older/vintage objects, including tube TVs/monitors and are not branded. Here are some of my favorites so far:
Morandi Sisters Micro World is in Italian and English, the site features printable wallpaper, floor, and decorative objects as well as sections on how to create DIY modeling clay. Last updated in 2013.
Custom Dolls, Houses, Miniatures (2010) has a whole bunch of PDF printables on this page, as well as links to other pages. MANY of those links don't work, but you can use them to find live pages- like MuffaMiniatures Etsy, which is still active and sells patterns!
Hitty Print Mini is a site now only accessible by the wayback machine. A lot of the pages are broken, but there are some available printables that are pretty cute. They're sized for a slightly bigger doll. I like the pet-themed printables and the books too.
Jennifers Printables is one of the most cohesive, still-in-existence sites I've found. It says it was founded in 2001, but the date at the bottom of the page is 2021, so it still might be a bit out of date. But theres TONS of cool stuff on here. I like the grocery sections, and the history information they include on the pages
Just some interesting resources. I don't want to link to sites that seem majority focused around selling things, but there are absolutely more free printables online. It's becoming harder to source these, too, because there are a lot on google images but link to pinterest or something.
Anyone else have any good sources? I'm interested in seeing gaps in what is available, too.
Pinterest is a really good resource for this, just searching "miniature printables" or "dollhouse printables" will come up with some good scans.
I will plug my own miniature pinterest board which does have SOME printables on it.

personally i dont use pinterest anymore because of how much content on there is AI, but its cool to see some curated stuff you were able to find on there!
https://myfroggystuff.blogspot.com/p/printables.html?m=1 myfroggystuff also has archives of every minature printable she's made for her videos! she has 1:6 scale [barbie and the like], a few 1:16 scale [think like star wars action figure size or other minidolls about 6 or so inches tall] and 1:3 scale [roughly american girl sizes] printables.
Oh thats cute, I've seen myfroggy stuff on youtube.
(heres the link, the above one seems slightly broken)
I finally have my link nendo and have also ordered a lil doll body to stick him on (another win for the dx version) but the outfit I ordered isn't going to arrive for up to 2 weeks after the body. I do have some clothes laying around tho so expect a silly little fashion show. As Nintendo clearly intended.
Number One downside to the Moonspell High line is that this puts quite the hole in my "Barbie Dream Besties are G3 Normies" theory

Chuchu Doll HINA (@dolchu_sae on twitter, personal blog http://princesskiss.blog4.fc2.com/) has made a compilation of outfits that appear on Dollybird and they are available for printing directly on the link. THIS LINK includes:
Vest+shirt+shorts+bow
Witch cloak+witch hat
Two-tone dress
Pajama set
Coat+shirt+skirt
Yukata
Maid dress with bonnet
Dorothy dress
Chinese-style dress

I need Blokees Vivid Echoes Miku to be on amazon so I can do a photoshoot of Soundwave and his three leek smoking girlfriends
Plastic canvas crafts are calling my name, and now I have plastic canvas and needles but I forgot the most important part. The freaking yarn
Turns out model kits are fun
She is Large! But I have a small problem with her. The collar is attached to the hood so in most every other media it's the dame color as the hood. WhY is it a different color here? grrr.
here's a Reddit thread where the op repainted the head black so it matches, and it looks great. they even share what paint they used to get a color match further down in the comments

Thinking about that post about how irl Gardevoir trainers would be like doll collectors and post pictures of Gardevoir having a tea party with captions like "a beautiful lady" and it genuinely makes me wanna get a Gardevoir figure/model kit to take pictures of. I could make this dream a reality. I have that power.
My first ever attempt at Photoshop but I'm so fucking excited now
Ignore that the eyes are also colored I don't know how to fix that, BUT!!!!! SHE'S GOING TO LOOK SO CUTE HOLY MOLY
