Hello! This is the official Tumblr Blog for "What the Afterlife Left Behind" fanfic on AO3. I recently got a request for fanart and figured I might as well make a blog to share.

If you are wondering why the author is listed as Anonymous, it's because I was insanely nervous to post it under my official AO3 account, but now that it's doing well, I might take it off.

Mother Gotham design. I did take inspiration from Victorian funeral wear, with some other stuff mixed in.

Yes, the red stuff is meant to be blood, even put in some dirt. I rarely ever post my digital art so this is kinda nerve wracking.

Oliver and Bruce have been friends since they were kids, but their friendship was always more. Many thought that they would grow out of it, especially when Bruce shut him out after his parents' deaths, but it stayed strong. It was more than a friendship, but it wasn't a romance, it was simply... them.

Until he was on the other end of that gun, and it fired, right through his heart.

His life was never the same after that.
