PILLOW TALK *
cralecc:
honestly he wasnât sure what to do now, so he tries his best to get the atmosphere back into a happy one by letting out a soft chuckle. âof course i havent.â he starts.
sitting up to prod at thomasâ sides. âlet me copy yours, just this once please?â
âI worry about youâ, he confessed, his eyes closed because he didnât want to look at alec and know he would be judged by his worries. He knew alec all too well to also know that he would start misinterpreting his worry with something else and that was just one more reason for Thomas not to say anything.
Because there was nothing worse than being accused of something that wasnât the truth.
Unfortunately, he also knew alec wouldnât let that rest, not until he was feeling okay with everything. The two of them knew the other too well not to realize when it was time to move on or press on the subject.
âIâm not being jealous of you, first of all. Iâm really worried really. And I feel like you have more fun with your other friends than you have with me. So thatâs why you think Iâm unhappy. Because Iâm not as thrilled as getting myself killed like you or your friends.â
And then he realized how silly it probably looked, saying those things out loud, he did sound like a needy stupid friend and alec would probably judge him by saying that but now the cat was out of the bag and well, he would just have to deal with whatever was thrown at him.
âby the way, no. youâre not copying my stuff alec. Come on, I can help you out, but copying is too much. Youâre smart, one of the smartest out there, so you can write your own essayâ he rolled his eyes, being truthful because honestly, no matter how close they were, Thomas always pushed Alec towards his homework and to fully embrace his intellect (that sometimes was shadowed by his adventures at school).
