A witch has many typical duties, especially on this night of the full moon. She runs her fingers along her table, tracing a mixture of beech, comfrey and molukka into the carved sigils, representing wishes, safe travels and protection, to make this specific portal. Today, she would once again invite cookies into her home, most likely she wouldn't hear anything back... she was used to it by this point. A curious knowledge-craving woman she was, and yet her curiosity was never fed the way she desired it to be.
Oh well, she would just keep reaching out. A signal, as if flashing a light from a lighthouse, guiding cookies into her loving, warm home.
Her magic twinkles through her fingers, small stars creating constellations along the surface of the table, and she pulls her wheelchair the slightest bit closer to focus. The portal opens, a small flash of light into her home. It would remain open an hour, and then close once more. She rolls her wheelchair back, nodding before moving to start stocking the little fridge. She had been up last night making treats for her friends that she would eat if they wouldn't accept the offerings... she found it a bit funny. Normally you would leave offerings to gods, higher powers you wish to worship, but here she was offering to such sweet, smaller folk.
Sybil stocks the little fridge with drinks, placing the little baked treats out on the table and preparing the little blankets she'd made the night prior. She hums in affirmation, all perfect. She rolls along next to the side of where these cookies would enter, starting to work in her journal. This one was her cookie research one, it was... quite empty. She'd written down what little she'd known, and an update that the portal connected successfully to their world.
" Today, I will once again attempt to invite them into my home. Maybe with seeing this portal come around their little world, they'll be more inclined to look into it? Time will tell. Now I must be patient. "
Her pencil nearly falls out of her hand as she hears the little patter of tiny footsteps. Her starry blue eyes roll along to the little tiny cookie on her desk. She blinks a few times in surprise. This surprise melts away into a small smile, and she places her pencil down very gently as to not rattle the table before pulling back and adjusting to not loom over this tiny friend.
... Welcome... please don't be frightened my friend, I've tried to make things as comfortable for you as possible... ,,
Sybil ushers the lady to look around at the table, all to witness her cute little set up. She'd been planning this for a while...
... I am Sybil. Oh- I've dreamed so often of this... you're so small. Such a pretty little lady you are too... what beautiful white hair... ,,
Her eyes examine the small woman with a curious gleam, but her hands stay sat in her lap for now. She didn't want to freak her out!
