We did not choose our progens' terts I explicitly remember bragging about getting lucky with mine

Nope!  I remember being very confused when I saw my progen had a tertiary colour because I knew I’d only picked two colours and wondered if I’d missed something - although I was also confused because I couldn’t see what the tertiary colour did.  Besides, I went for an all-red dragon (blood/crimson), so I don’t think I’d have picked obsidian as a tert anyway (although I do consider it lucky in hindsight)

I believe staff and everyone else so it must be a false memory, but I specifically remember making my dark purple progen and then picking white as a tert because I couldn’t see what it changed
