The year is nearly over, and it’s been a strange one! But we’ve persevered, and we want to go out with a bang. We have a final interview coming your way, with @literarion​, our project leader, about what this experience has been like.

Crown of Thorns Pod’rama Chapter 76 — art by Firefly

For our final coda we come full circle, with a piece by @feuerbluete who created the illustration for our very first chapter back in January.

For the final full chapter of our story, so long it’s divided into parts, qwanderer created a lovely linked series hinting at significant moments during each section.

Image descriptions:  There are six illustrations in total, all centred around a wooden framework reminiscent of a stile or a bit of fence. In the first, April, the wood is twined with pea vines and fairy lights. A mouse sits on the frame. A plaque reads, “April: With the Unfamiliar Name.”

In the second, the frame is twined with rosemary and ivy. On the crossbar sits a jar of jam labelled “Rosehip and honey.” A plaque reads, “May: With Transitory Blossom.”

In the third, a green snake climbs the frame, and a feather, an iron nail, and a hermit crab sit on the crossbar. A plaque reads, “June: With Voluptuary Sweetness.”

In the fourth, the frame is surrounded by roses, hellebore, and an apple branch bearing a small green apple. A plaque reads, “July: With the Flickering Tongue.”

In the fifth, a green snake climbs the frame. A burning cigarette rests on the crossbar. Over the frame hangs an apple branch bearing a large, lightly blushed apple. A plaque reads, “August: With a Kind of Valediction.”

In the sixth, the frame is twined with brambles bearing ripe red and black berries, and fairy lights. A mouse sits on the crossbar, nibbling berries. A plaque reads, “Epilogue: Here, Now and Always.”

Meet miss_echidna! Voice of Agnes Nutter, Dani, and the Medic

miss_echidna is an Australian voice actor and script editor for the CoT Podrama who is passionate about voice acting, music, and fandom. She has been a fic writer since her introduction to fandom in 2012, and was in recent years introduced to audio drama and podfic. Her other credits include a variety of other Good Omens podfic available on her AO3 account, which she loves to muck around with. She is currently enjoying playing around with accents for the characters of Agnes Nutter, Dani, and the medic, and being a part of a community that is excited about fandom, Good Omens, and audio.

Hello everyone!

We’re going to be doing an interview on Saturday 26th, with @literarion​, the director and lead organiser of the project, and the voice of Aziraphale!

Literarion is the lead organiser of the CoT project. She came up with the idea and organisational structure, and brought the team together to create the Crown of Thorns Pod'rama. She is also the voice actor for Aziraphale. She fell head over heels into the Good Omens fandom in June 2019, and fell in love with Crown of Thorns not long after. Lit has created a variety of podfics in the fandom. She works in research, and has managed both large international projects, and groups of volunteers, for many years.
