Jason really should’ve known. The alarm had gone off on the west wing of the museum's rooftop—the same exact way it had the last three times you’d broken in. And just like every other time, when he finally cornered you, it felt less like crime fighting and more like wrangling a stray cat with too much charm and zero remorse.

He landed on the roof with a heavy thud, red helmet gleaming under the moonlight, gun holstered but ready. "Y/N."

Meanwhile you were crouched by a skylight, bag of precious artifacts at your feet, while your tail shaped climbing rope dangled behind you. You blinked at him. Slow. Dramatic. Then:

“Mrrrow?”

Jason’s shoulders dropped. “No. Nope. Don’t even start with that.”

You tilted your head, scooting toward him on all fours with ridiculous feline fluidity. You rose to your knees in front of him, lightly head butting his chest; the cat version of a kiss. Your hands slid up his jacket, claws tracing patterns into the leather, and purred louder.

“You're cheating.” he snarled, but to your ears it sounded like whining. It just made you grin sinfully.

“And this?” You nuzzled into the hollow of his throat, warm breath brushing his skin. “Is this cheating too?”
