i was born january 2008 but ive been watching dan and phil for a worryingly long time - since 2016 when i was 8. i do still absolutely feel like an infant in comparison to the majority of the fandom, probably partly because while i was watching every video, i only started lurking in fandom spaces during the pandemic, and ive only started properly engaging in those spaces in the last year or so (probably for the better, as much as i love this community)

anyways yeah they've like. had such an impact on me as a person and i really doubt id be the man i am today without their influence, even pre gay; they got me through some of the loneliest parts of my life.

Heavy on them getting you through the loneliest parts of life!!! I said this a few asks ago but when I was in middle/high school I was very lame and didn’t have a lot of friends so they were a space for me to be openly fucking WEIRD and happy!! And in 2022 a random roommate turned into my best friend (who I still live with!) bc we bonded over dnp!! And then when I was finishing college in late 2023, I was like………. So Depressed, and them coming back from the dead genuinely got me through the last part of my degree.

RAHHHHH I LOVE THEM :( it’s making me boohoo having ppl weigh in on how much they’ve been impacted by these two doofuses!!!!!!
