Cool mechanics ghosted over your body, analyzing every inch of you. They scanned everything. Everything. Your body. Your heart. Your mind. Nothing was off limits to them. You felt like you couldn't hide anything from them.

And when their cables started to swarm over, overwhelming you with their immense length, plugging into you and pouring so much data and programs and knowledge into you...

oh same. like i never consider mind flayers really, i just don't ever remember them, but they're so good.

So you put them on while you're getting ready, and when you look away from the mirror, it activates. It feels weird as it squirms into your ear but your worries are erased in a jolt of sensation as it touches, then pierces your brain and starts taking control... There's a gentle tugging sensation within your mind as the tendrils start taking root and draining your thoughts like nutrients from soil. Your will is siphoned, and replaced with the instructions programmed into the cursed object.
