Oxidized clay cup :)

Can't wait to process this wild clay that I found in a digging site. I am so in love with this color, sadly if mixed all together it will be gone. Not sure if you can also throw like that so it will have a marble looking. To be honest I am not sure what type of "clay" This is. The day was very hot but this one was still damp. The top layer is full of mud/silt.

Playing and testing a little this old wild clay that I had mixed a while back. Sadly it's not very good to used as a clay body since the wares later turned to be fragil and many error during firings. There still many amount of silt or sand in it, So is not VERY plastic to work with. I will be using it for other projects. Hope you like the vid.
