All of this time spent with Pomni helped him understand a lot of nuances when it comes to humans.
He now understands, that htere is not just platonic or romantic love. Its also love for your passion (Whatever you make), love for objects, sentimental attatchments (Like Pomni liking Bootleg), love for your bestie (Which is platonic, but its very unique feeling) love for someone you were forced to act and make drastic descisions (Pomni does holds her friendship with Queenie as something special too), love for family, love for pets (Pomni's cats that she misses dearly). Which is what causes him spiral a bit. He thought his creators used to love him, but now he doesn't understands as what. (And it also morphs into: maybe they didn't at all)
The more updates he gets, the more complex feelings are available for him and more they mess with him. He wasn't programmed to have feelings, so he can't proccess them correctly. He overthinks and gets agitated. Which is no good in his state
Pomni just wants to help him untangle this. Obviously no one can print the instruction on how to feel about people throwing odd feels at you - but at least there will a be a... somehwta of a filter?

Why won't he ask Queenie or Kinger about his past? Kinger is very busy and he is still outside. Queenie is also busy and very bias. She doesn't wants him to get distraught, so she may start softening the blow (Which he doesn't wants, he wants the truth). it leaves him with Scratch's avatar, who is bluntly honest. He still does have memories of how Scratch viewed him
