Psalm 23:3

I was reflecting this morning on how God humbled himself so much and suffered and that got me thinking… why do we Christians hold on to our pride and worldly honor so much? It makes me blush with shame to see my pride when Jesus being God humbled himself so much to save me from myself. I have no reason for pride. Everything is from Him and if it wasn’t for Him I would be miserable and headed toward nothingness. We need to follow Him truly by embracing our cross.
