Since Ti West is basically turning X into a series/franchise, I want another mini-prequel from Howard’s perspective. Like I am DYING to know how he went from poor war vet who comes home to his wife eating dinner with her parents corpses to joining his wife’s murder escapades. Is he that scared of Pearl that he’s willing to do anything not to join the pile of bodies? Did he hear Pearl’s explanation and go “you know what, my sister, in-laws, and the guy you cheated with DID deserve to die”. These aren’t plot holes, I have just spent the last few hours of my life going back and forth on whether Howard killed those people in X because his wife is his soulmate and he’s also violent, or if he’s just been terrified for 60 years and going “yes honey, I’ll do whatever you want, please don’t kill me”.
