Wow I don’t think we ever did!!! (Either in the original RP or in the reboot haha – although you trIED by writing the above comment) ANYWAY this is what happens when you have 203984039284 characters

Anyway, I love the idea of these guys being friends?!?!??!? And perhaps fighting together in the war omg perhaps one of them save the other’s live at one point???? Maybe they are like best friends now????? (and if THAT is the case – perhaps he does know the Moysaunts regardless????)

oKAY so I feel like these two would balance each other out so well!!!! Like Cris is … Cris lmao and then there’s Petyr who is always very optimistic and friendly and energetic and always tries to see the best in people and alskdjflaskdjf

Also, I was trying to figure out what Petyr thought about Rowena/how he’d feel about the resistance and I was reading old comments and it turns out that he dOES know that the South really needs help and the current leadership is a disaster but he is also good friends with Lysander and trusts a lot of his opinions b/c he’s so traveled and worldly (lmao) and so he does, for the most part, have faith in the Queen, herself. And he gets taht things aren’t’ perfect in Aragoth and that a lot needs to change, but he also thinks that she has everyone’s best interests at heart and is trying her best, basically. And so Petyr really thinks that change can come w/o violence and, instead, with communication and determination!!!!!!! (all of which I’m sure he’s very vocal about so it’s probably why he didn’t get his “come join the resistance invitation!!” from the Barrets haha).

Anyway, thoughts about all of this?

ONE OF THEM SAVES THE OTHER’S LIFE AND NOW THEY’RE BFFS BYEEEEE I LOVE THAT!!!!!  Also, Cris 100% needs bffs and esp ppl like Petyr who can see past the crust but also don’t take his crap alkjdsflkjdsjf  And yeah!!  If we do go w that, I agree that its automatically WAYYYY more likely that Petyr ~does know about the Moysaunts!!  But obv Cris wouldn’t pressure the Moysaunts into revealing the truth to anyone they didn’t want to: who knows and who doesn’t will always be 100% their choice!!

kjladskjfkdljsfjsd honestly tho!!!!!!!!  I LOVE how much they balance each other out alkjdsfkjsd  I also feel like they both prove each other wrong about ppl in general like 30 times a day bc Petyr is always like ‘ppl are better than you think!!’ and Cris is always like ‘ppl are worse than you think!!’ and they’re both right and they’re both wrong alksjdfkljdlfjkdf

asdlfkjaslkjfkjdsf IM CRYIN BC PETYR BELIEVING IN LYSANDER’S OPINION BC LYSANDER’S SO WORLDLY IS EVERYTHING TO ME I CREY also Cris like *looks directly into the camera*  I feel like this is part of why Cris is so invested in the above argument (’ppl - specifically rowena!! - are worse than you think!!  and lysander is far stupider!!’ ;D)  I also feel like Cris is forever running interference for Petyr bc he knows if Rowena ever hears that one of her lords is saying the things Petyr’s saying in the name of open communication, that lord will disappear in the dungeons forever w/o a trace like alaric de montfort did, all those years ago alkjdfkljsdflj ;DDDD (rowena: im actually NOT responsible for that...i was going more the public execution route it’s not my fault he escaped ;D)

I literally feel like Ned would nOT be where he is today, if it was for Cris? Like when he becomes king (i mean when he thinks he’s gonna become king like dmitrei ruins that one like #whoops), Cris would literally be his hand okay. And besides Ric, Ned doesn’t care for anyone more (I don’t wanna say he likes Cris more than Rob but … he likes Cris more than Rob ;DD) 

I do feel like Ned realizes, now, that they did Rob a disserve in kinda ~neglecting him, but Ned is very much an ~ends justifies the means~ type of guy anymore and yes, Rob suffered for it and he’s a problem, but in the end, he and Cris helped more ppl by being hella attentive to the south than being hella attentive to Rob (altho that’s liTeraLLY gonna come back and bite them both #barretproblems) (I’m not 100% sure of the timeline, but I’m thinking that Ned will probs die after Ana, but before they find out that it was Rob who killed Ana?)

But yeah, basically Ned does realize that Rob is a problem and spends ½ of his time apologizing for him, but he does NOT realize just how big of a problem he is. 

Anyway, Ned is 14 years older than Cris and I absolutely 100% that is a huge part of why Cris feels about him the way he does!!!!  Like, growing up, Cris always 100% wanted to be just like Ned!!!!! and was constantly trying to catch up to him!!!! and be as good as he was!!!!!  And once he got older and started to see that Ned was a real person rather than a mythic figure, his life mission became helping him achieve his ends!!!!

Honestly they deF did do Rob a disservice, growing up, but I feel like (as is probably true in general, as well), that Ned is much more understanding about that than Cris.  Cris is just kinda like ‘so ur childhood sucked.  get over it’ which isn’t the most helpful but he does???? think???? it is??????  Like, he thinks he’s giving good advice like ‘get over it’ will help Rob be like ‘yknow what ur right i’ll just move on!!!!!’ bc...Cris is kind of like that????  Someone says ‘suck it up’ and he’s like ‘ok!!!! i can do that!!!!!’ and then represses the hell out of it dksljfaklsdjfjds SARCASTIC YAY!!!!!!!  And so he says “helpful” things like this bc he loves him!!!! but I feel like it can come off super unfeeling and insensitive which has to be fun kljsdf;adjkf but that’s def not how he means it smdh  

And yes!  I think Ned and Cris are v much of one mind on that!!!1  Cris is v much like ‘we served the big picture and rob will understand bc he’s a barret’ but ooPS he may have miscalculated that one balskdjfklsjdfkd I mean Rob was a child???? like????  ANYWAY!!  ITS LITERALLY GONNA COME BACK AND BITE THEM ALSKDJFLKSJFKLJSDKLJFKLDS I CHOKED honestly tho alksdjfklsjdfkj  Hahaha that’ll be a fun one for Cris to deal w by himself *thumbs up* which is probs a big part of why he’s gonna go all terminator on rob’s ass...which considering only one of them has a dragon will probs go well for him *waves flag*

Anyway, Cris def also waaaaaay underestimates Rob too!!!  He’s like ‘yeh he’s moody he’s gotta grow up’ but def doesn’t think he’s making blood pacts w a devil to the extreme detriment of everything Cris loves </3  FUN FOR THE WHOLE (BARRET-MOYSAUNT) FAMILY!!!!!

Avina’s screams woke the entire camp. Within moments, Ana was by her sister’s side, clutching her hand as she wiped the sweat from her brow. “Shh, it’s alright.” She said softly, “It’s over now.” Her sister’s visions had become more and more frequent and Ana was worried. It was a terrible burden her sister carried: to see the past; to know the future.

Avina turned towards Ana’s voice, but she barely heard it. The dream had ended, but the terror remained. “It’s you – ” Avina breathed, trembling “– Ana, you are going to die.”

Cris had been standing nearby: he had come as soon as he had heard the screams, but he’d remained silent, allowing Ana to comfort her sister; staying close at hand in case he was needed. But at Avina’s words, he knelt down by her side, ”When? How?“ His voice was urgent and his hand had instinctively moved to the hilt of his sword as though some danger lurked beyond them in the trees.

Avina could only shake her head, “I don’t know … ”

In response, Ana laughed. ”Is that all? Then there’s no need to worry, sweetling. Everyone must die someday. It’s a small comfort, really, to know that I won’t be cursed with immortality.“

“Ana, don’t laugh,” Avina pleaded, “There was so much blood … When you die … it will not be peaceful.”

“I never expected that it would be,” Ana said softly, “Shh, think no more of it. Don’t let it trouble you. I will make you some tea. It will help you sleep.” Avina nodded, reluctantly letting her sister’s hand go.

Ana made her way down to the stream in the darkness. She hadn’t stopped to make a torch, but she didn’t need one. She’d lived long enough in these woods that she could have done the same had she been blindfolded.

Cris had followed her and as soon as they were out of earshot from the rest of the camp, he reached out and took her arm, "Ana, stop. We need to get you away from here. It’s too dangerous. Ned and I will make arrangements in the morning for you and Avina. You will go North; you will go somewhere no one would recognize you. We never should have let either of you stay here this long.”

Ana shook her head, ”That may not solve anything. She saw my death, yes, but we don’t know when or where or how. The same could be said of everyone else. This doesn’t change anything.“

"I will not stand idly by and let this happen to you. Do not ask that of me, Ana,” He said, his voice had been stern, but it gave way and he spoke softly now, so quietly she barely heard him, “ … please don’t leave me in this world alone — if something were to happen to you, I – ”

“I’ll be fine,” She said, “I’ve survived worse.”

She’d been walking back to the rebel encampment when it happened: a stray arrow had struck her side.The arrow had belonged to Rob, who had been practicing on the wrong side of the woods. He had never been a good shot and the arrow widely missed the target. It’d gone off into the forest where it found Ana. She hadn’t been alone and, with the help of Ivette, she made it into camp.

Cris was with her now, putting pressure on the wound where the arrow had been. The cloth he’d used was soaked through already and his hands were covered in her blood.

“I’m fine,” She said, again, noting the worry on his face. She’d never seen him quite like this before: a mixture of concern and helplessness. She hadn’t been lying when she told him that she’d survived worse. She’d lived with no one but her little sister for more than half of her life. The wilderness had been cruel to them both, and they’d only had each other when they were wounded or sick. For years, before Avina was old enough, Ana had had only herself.
