current wip my beloved!

these are the comfiest socks I've ever worn and they don't even have toes yet :) I'm following this pattern by Andrea Pfuhl and it is super well written and easy to follow so far. yes this is my 4th cast on of this project; the 1st attempt I used bad colours, the 2nd I used too many colours and wrecked my tension, the 3rd i made the exact same mistakes as the previous times. then I went out and bought yarn specifically from this project, calmed down and started again. and it's working!!! need to make socks using other construction methods but for now I'm a heel flap/gusset warrior.

I'm sooo excited to finish these they're going to go so well with my big boots for walking in the upcoming colder months. I'm a big birdwatcher and i know these are going to go so hard once it's cold and wet and I want to keep my feet cozy to look at all the lovely feathered fellows about.

do people post their knitting on tumblr? i hope they do!!! anyways, here's the 2 full jumpers I've made this year obsessed with both of them can't wait til it gets colder again and I can rock them

so the one on the left is Flowers by Olga Casey but with the middle section panels doubled to make it W I D E. this was my birthday present to myself this year and I love ittt

and the left is The Aurora Sweater by Cecilie Kaurin and Linn Bryhn Jacobsen! managed to get this finished before it got too hot and it's a delight to wear the construction of the shoulders fits me so well I love it omg!!! the sleeve designs and trees around the bottom were my own inclusions teehee love a pattern edit
