thinking about post canon ford talking about fiddleford ALL THE TIME!!!! stan will mention wanting to grab bagels the next time they're stopped and ford will just blurt out, "fiddleford likes bagels." and stan will just stare at him like....ok??? they'll stop for the night in a little town and come across a farm of some kind and ford will tell stan that fiddleford grew up on a pig farm. sometimes when they're watching something funny on tv or stan makes a good joke he'll just go, "fiddleford would love that! i must relay this to him." and stan will side eye him. while they're video calling the kids dipper is complaining about a difficult class and ford says, "oh! fiddleford is good at that! you should ask him to help you, i'm sure he wouldn't mind!" stan's eye is twitching cartoonishly. this happens CONSTANTLY and one day stan finally gets fed up and asks him why he's "bringin' up the damn hillbilly so much? isn't it enough that you call 'im every five minutes?" and ford just shoves his shoulder and tells him to shut up. later, when they stop in gravity falls to check on everyone, things start to click into place when he sees ford beaming at fiddleford as he explains his latest death bot blueprints.
